We came in to find a used four wheel drive car for my daughter who is going to school in Michigan. We asked both the GSM Bill Harned, and our salesman, Angel Gammons if the ford escape we were looking at daughter who is going to school in Michigan. We asked both the GSM Bill Harned, and our salesman, Angel Gammons if the ford escape we were looking at was 4wd. They both said yes, A week later it snowed and we couldn't get up the driveway..the Ford Escape without 4wd is the WORST vehicle I have ever driven in snow! We brought it back and they told us that the 4wd wasn't working and to drop it by the service dept the following Thurs. Bill Harned made a great show of looking at the vin number on the car, walking back into the dealership for a few moments, and then coming out again to reassure both me and my husband that the car was four wheel drive and his service dept would "take care of us". When I dropped the car off at t eh service dept. , the nice mechanics ( and they ARE very nice, quite unlikethe sales dept. who drops you as soon as they have your signature) told me that the car was a two wheel drive vehicle. AT this point Mr. Harned produced a much more expensive car. I asked to see the dealer cost. He never showed me. I was willing to pay only the increased cost of a four wheel drive vehicle, but not over dealer cost since both Bill and Angel had made the "mistake". AT this time I was still polite and using the word mistake, and willing to deal with them just to get on with it. ( it was two days before Christmas) Mr. Harned informed me that he simply could not give this to me at cost, and that he was offereing a very good deal. I pointed out to him that I was financially maxed out and simply didn't hgave the wiggle room he seemed to think I did, and he said "yes, I heard you the first 47 time you said that." HOnestly, there are so many good people in retail who are unemployed. You would think Jerry's Ford would try to hire someone with a personality, at least. Well, after that, they accused us of not "working with them" and giving them enough time to find us a suitable four wheel drive car. No one returned our calls. My husband finally got a hold of Jerry Cohen, who told him that he was being threatening, and hung up on him. My husband is nearly deaf and very loud on the phone. Mr. Cohen apparently took this as a personal affront, in addition to ripping us off about the car. He pointed out, though, before he hung up, that the paperwork clearly stated that the car was front wheel drive, and that this was our problem not theirs. IN addition to all of this, I had to go back three times for the plates. Angel made a big show of going over to the phone and supposedly talking to the DMV. Within seconds ( have you ever gotten through to the DMV this fast? Not I! amazing!!!!) he told us that the DMV hadgotten confused on my order buyt that it was straightened out. Then I asked Bill Harned a week later and he gave me the exact same answer. He said "This is the DMV's problem, not ours." A few days later, I asked MIchael Stoner, the assistant General Manager. Mr. Stoner actually was efficient and quite nice. He discovered that Jerry's had never sent the emission form, and that is why the DMV had not sent the plates. The car was immediately sent to service and within fifteen minutes, new plates were attached to our car. Mr.Stoner and the mechanics in service are the only bright spots at Jerry's Ford. STAY AWAY and if you too have been ripped off by them, let everyone know!!!!!!! More
Pulled a bait and switch. Low price over Internet by Angel and then car not there. First they said it was there, then said it was on the back lot. Gave me window sticker to verify VIN # I had been dis Angel and then car not there. First they said it was there, then said it was on the back lot. Gave me window sticker to verify VIN # I had been discussing. Then they said it was at another dealership. Then they said it was sold the day before even though I had put down deposit. I had checked just that morning, and even got a phone call confirming 2 hours before my visit it was there. After they finally confirmed there was no car they told me I "needed to work with them" and they offered me a vehicle substantially more than the deal I made. Checked VIN number I was given when I got home and found out they never had the car. It was at another dealership not related to them! After complaining for 2 days got a call from Don, the sales manager, who advised "we have the right to refuse sale to anyone over any reason," and "I don't have that car in my inventory." No kidding -- you never did, even though you offered it to me for a low ball price to get me in the door. I was told Internet pricing is just an "offer" and that does not mean that is what they will sell it to you for. I have bought 2 other vehicles over Internet with no problems. Will not go here again. I found prive with a sticker. He push me to deposit 500 bucks to hold this price. I am not very comfortable. I went to check VIN # on their web site. I found they cheated on me ! The sticker is not the right one!!! They use fake fraudulent state inspection sticker which has full equitments to replace the real one which only has basic equitment. They set you up once you bite the bait. Never tust them and stay away!!! More
I went to Jerry's in Annandale for regular service on my 2009 Mustang GT. This was not the first time I went to Jerry's but it was the first time in over a year for this vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off 2009 Mustang GT. This was not the first time I went to Jerry's but it was the first time in over a year for this vehicle. I dropped the vehicle off in the morning and picked it up after work, which is my normal routine for service on my vehicles. When I picked up the vehicle the nighmare began. There was a noticeable and sizable crack in the front bumper/ground effects which was not there when the vehicle was dropped off. On the Service record for that day (which they are to fill out prior to servicing the vehicle, and record any dents or substantial damage to the vehicle), nothing was noted (no crack in the bumper because it wasn't there when I dropped it off). I brought the damage to my bumper immediately to the General Sales Manager on duty at the time (the service department was already closed). Ryan, the GSM, handled the case with professionalism and courtesy especially in the face of an angry, pregnant client with an obvious passion for the vehicle that was damaged. Ryan handed the case over to the service department the next day; I never took possesion of the vehicle after the crack appeared in the bumper. The dealership promised to fix the problem and bring the bumper back to it's original condition. Nine days later (7 business days), I received a phone call the vehicle was ready. I went to pick up the vehicle and found that their idea of bringing the bumper back to original condition was to bondo the bumper until from the front of the vehicle you could no longer tell their was a crack. They repainted and it looked pretty, but the crack on the back side of the bumper was still very obvious to the touch of a hand or visible when the car is lifted (or you crawl under the vehilce). I am not satisfied with the fix as it compromised both the integrity of my vehicle as well as the value. I was told by Ryan that they would not do anything else to fix the bumper. He added that I would not win a case in court or with an insurance company because there was no Police report taken at the time of incident. He was correct, there was not police report because I trusted them to fix the problem they had caused and not just bondo but to replace the bumper. That was my own error in judgement. I was forced by circumstance to take possesion of the vehicle as they would no longer provide me with a rental (as they had while claiming to be fixing my vehicle) citing that they felt their duty was done and thus they were not obligated to provide me with a vehicle any longer. Jerry's Ford not only reduced the value of my vehicle, but have also compromised the integrity of the bumper and are refusing to fix the issue. Jerry's Ford has completely taken advantage of me and the situation they placed me in my damaging my vehicle. Beware of these guys, and if you do have service with them and they damage your vehicle in any way, call the police to have a police report taken before you go any further. Protect yourself and your vehicle first, these guys will take advantage of you if they can. Good luck! More

Review: I went to this dealer two times in one week to see and test drive the same car I requested. Each time they said on the phone that they have the car i am interested, but when i get there they see and test drive the same car I requested. Each time they said on the phone that they have the car i am interested, but when i get there they say that car is in their sister dealership. Second time before I visit I specifically called them to make sure they have the car in their lot. She said yes they have it. When I got there guess what? Car was not. Apparently they are telling every lie to get you into their store. Before I was leaving the store guy said that If I make deal with them and start doing paperwork he will get the car in 20 minutes for me. He is trying to sell the car without even showing it first. Plus sales associate who i had appointment was not there either. Avoid them to save your time. They do not tell the truth. I was quoted a price on the internet which I knew was a great price. After I got there, they pulled a bait and switch on me. First, it wasn't the car they said it was and then they said they made a "big mi great price. After I got there, they pulled a bait and switch on me. First, it wasn't the car they said it was and then they said they made a "big mistake" and gave me the wrong quote that was thousands of dollars off. Then they tried to set me up by saying they could maybe make it up in financing or my trade. But, they came back offering me almost HALF of what Edmunds said my trade was worth. Extremely insulting. Proceed at your own risk, or stupidity. More
So far I am very pleased with my decision to purchase a new vehicle from Jerry's. After interacting with several dealerships regarding cars identical to that I eventually purchased, Jerry's earned my busi new vehicle from Jerry's. After interacting with several dealerships regarding cars identical to that I eventually purchased, Jerry's earned my business by making me feel comfortable. In addition to making me feel comfortable, Michael, my salesperson, was very helpful, personable, and understanding. The best part of the deal was the near lack of price haggling; I told Michael exactly what I wanted to pay for the car and exactly what I thought my trade was worth. Jerry's was able to accomodate my requests. If you're in the market for a new Ford, stop by Jerry's and see what the dealership has to offer. More
Jerry's Ford was great! I took almost 4 months to figure out what exactly I wanted, shopping at Chevy dealers for an Equinox, at Jeep dealers for a Liberty or Compass, at other Ford dealerships looking at t out what exactly I wanted, shopping at Chevy dealers for an Equinox, at Jeep dealers for a Liberty or Compass, at other Ford dealerships looking at the Escape (out of the area), and the whole time Joe Hughes (the salesman I worked with) was very patient with me. He called and used e-mail to communicate. He never pressured me, which I appreciated more and more after going to other dealerships. The Jeep dealership was too pushy-- trying to get me to make up my mind the very first time I set foot on their lot (even after telling them that there was no way I was looking to make a purchase that day). The Chevy dealership was the same. Jerry's Ford not only had a great salesman, but the other staff members were very helpful. Even after they had the sale they continued to be helpful setting up the Sync system in the car and helping me to understand some of the newer features in the car. I would definitely recommend this dealership for others. More
