Ryan Rice’s assistances in our examination, test drives and ultimate purchase was well above the behaviors normally found amongst car salespersons. The finance team did not waste my time and were clearly integrated into a very solid sales, management and finance team. More

Also the truck had some issues that they promised to fix and have ready by a certain day. That didn't happen. Had to call several times before someone would even return my calls. They have caller-id, and won't answer the phone. They promised I would have the door code to the truck to unlock the door. They didn't happen. They would not give me an invoice showing the repairs they made, saying that the repairs where made under the previous owners' name, even thou I had paperwork saying I brought the truck. Once you buy a vehicle from them, that's it. They will not answer the phone. I even had a 3 mth trail of sirius which they never told me about. They activated it without telling me and I wasn't able to listen to it because sirius said the dealer was supposed to update the software. They only gave me one key to the vehicle. Also a mechanic I had taken it too said they the wire was wet and rusty from a possible car wash. These sales people are only about selling a vehicle and wan't nothing to do with you afterwards. More

I have bought two fords in the last two years from Malloy. The first time I needed service from Malloy I got the run around from the service department that the parts were on back order for 30 days. However the worst part is they choose not to call anyone back till the end of the day or not at all. Every time they called me back is after I called my sales guy to speak to a manager. Lousy service setup. I ended getting my vehicle back from Malloy and taking it to my local mechanic. My local mechanic was able to get the parts in one day and fix my vehicle the same day. More

He explained the problem was with Ford's policies and they would not reimburse them for work performed after the warranty period. He offered to reimburse me from Malloy's pocket and I agreed that would make everything all right. In light of their response, I withdraw my previous review and now heartily recommend them. More
I didn't go on the lot with the intention of buying a truck. I was in the market for a new Ford pick-up. I had loved my 20 year old Ranger and wanted to replace it. I started at a different Ford dealership and was discouraged enough to look at another brand. But that effort re-convinced me I wanted a Ford Ranger. So I got on the internet, figured out the model and features I wanted; I found THE TRUCK at a dealership about 60 miles from home and figured I would go there and do the deed. Before getting there, I pulled into Malloy Ford in Charlottesville. I just wanted to see the color options for real. I was immediately greeted my a salesman -I indicated I didn't need any help, he backed off. I toured the lot and went back to the salesman and asked if he had one more color option on the lot. He took me directly to the truck of my dreams; still covered in it's transport masking. I knew what a good price was on that vehicle based on my research; the salesperson got with the sales manager and said they would meet my price. Called my wife to drop the old Ranger by the dealership, they made a more than fair offer for that truck ….and two hours after walking on the lot I drove away in my new RANGER. Thanks, guys. More

oil change and problem with key fob I had recently had a problem with one of my car keys in that it did not start the car. It was in the car, but a dash board message said no key detected. I had to get the second key from the house to start the car. It started but, the message remained for several hours. I was concerned that it would happen with the second key and strand me, so I took it to this dealership.I had the oil change and tire rotation done and the key problem was supposed to be addressed. The oil change and tires were done, but all that was done for the key problem was that the key battery was changed for a cost of $26.00. I had told them that I had already changed the battery twice and it did not fix the problem. When I was upset that the problem was really addressed at all, the $26.00 fee was cancelled, which I felt was right, but I can 30 miles to the dealership to solve this problem and it was not done. This is a big issue as I don"t want to be stranded somewhere with my disabled sister. More
