The only reason I got an update about my car was because I texted the dealer. They never called. It was also my 2nd trip in 2 weeks and I was told they had to rediagnose the issue. I had an appointment and took them 30 minutes to even have someone come check me in. Then I was not told what time the service center was closed nor was I called when my car was ready so I came when I wa have someone come check me in.
