On my last visit for service I was told my key fob didn’t work. They said they changed the battery and it still didn’t work and I would need it reprogrammed. I had given them my spare. I was told my battery needed replacing and I still had 2 years left on warranty for battery I bought 2 years ago. I have never bought a new battery for it. It’s a 2017 Forester with 65000 miles. I was told they needed to turn my rotors and replace my brakes. I have had the brakes done and no the rotors did not not need replacing. I am 74 years old. Maybe he thought I wouldn’t know any differently. He was wrong. On prior visits they have been satisfactory but after this they will not see me again unless it’s for a recall. More
My air conditioner on my 2019 Subaru WRX was not cooling. They charged me $340 for a service. They came back with an estimate for $2000 additional, stating that the compressor and condenser needed to be repl They charged me $340 for a service. I took it to my neighborhood mechanic and he said all those systems were fine and all that was needed was to replace the Shrader valve, $227. Maita could have just repaired my air conditioning for $340. It still would have been more expensive; but I would have left happy. They did work on my brakes and did a good job on that. More
I bought my car at Maita in 2017 with the Costco program. I now understand that I should have been getting 15% discounts on service I do at Maita, off course, the dealership never mentioned that to me, I jus I now understand that I should have been getting 15% discounts on service I do at Maita, off course, the dealership never mentioned that to me, I just happened to read it recently in a Costco disclosure. Should I assume that not telling me was an innocent oversight -:) or policy? Being straight forward with me when I purchased the car would have created a sense of loyalty which I now do not have. All the the reviews on the right margin are five stars, does that mean that my 4 star review is the first of it's kind? More
I love Maita Subaru and their staff (Mat). I really trust that they have my best interest and safety in mind. This was the first time I received a rental car . I have my 2019 Subaru serviced exclusively at Maita. It really costs me no more to use the dealer for regular maintenance and at this dealership I am treated extremely well. Recently my service advisor Bert, went the extra mile for me in getting some extra estimate work done. It's how you are treated that makes all the difference. More
