Vehicle Service- Brakes Pros: Appointment for noon, Trevor with the service department efficient, check-in went smoothly, estimate for brakes was as described per phone estim Pros: Appointment for noon, Trevor with the service department efficient, check-in went smoothly, estimate for brakes was as described per phone estimate made earlier in the week. Vehicle was to be ready for pick-up 3-4 hours. Received a phone call from Trevor several hours later, estimate was revised, front axle, nothing needed, rear axle needed rotors replaced. Estimate remained the same. vehicle was ready for pickup at 4:15 pm. Cons: Complimentary shuttle service was under staffed and inefficient. Had to wait over 30 minutes for driver to return from South Sacramento to dealership to drive me home and for the return pick-up my vehicle was ready at 4:15. No shuttle driver was available and eventually they sent a "porter" to come and pick me up at 5;35 so that I could retrieve my vehicle before the service department closed at 6 pm. The shuttle program appears to be under staffed for the area that the dealership serves. 1 shuttle driver who covers everything from south Sacramento to Rocklin results in excessive wait times. Summary: Next time I need my vehicle serviced I will add in Uber/Lyft costs to estimate, and factor in transportation to and from location. Brakes could have been done at any number of other locations and I chose the dealership because I didn't have to deal with finding a ride to and from. The shuttle service wasn't worth the hassle.
