I was approached outside shortly after arriving with someone asking to help me. That is so important. My service was done quickly and the entire experience was seamless. someone asking to help me. That is so important. My service was done quickly and the entire experience was seamless. More
I will never buy another Chevrolet vehicle again after the experience with the service team. After 28 days and over $400 in lyft rides I have my car back. I spent the first 3 weeks without a car, I did no the experience with the service team. After 28 days and over $400 in lyft rides I have my car back. I spent the first 3 weeks without a car, I did not receive a rental until the 22nd day. The entire time I was being treated like they were doing me a favor, instead of owning up to the terrible service I was receiving and complete lack of accountability and compassion. I took my car in July 19th because I was having transmission problems caused by a “special occurrence” which just sounds like they don’t want to own up to a whole line of transmissions being faulty. Within the first week my new transmission was in except now there was a check engine light on (was not there when I took it in), they said a sensor may have been damaged in the installation of the transmission, but they had to ship it in. By the 28th the part had been installed, however my car was still having problems. It was told to me that the transmission was the problem and they needed Chevrolet Headquarters permission to switch it out for another one. It took until August 10th to get it approved and installed. On August 10th I got a call saying the check engine light is still on and they see a warped flywheel that had not been noticed, so they had to order it from Michigan. On august 10th, 22 days after taking my car in they authorized a rental car. I picked up my car Monday August 15th, the new fly wheel had been installed, they had also changed one headlight at no cost, and the only work I approved outside of the transmission was having my coolant tank replaced. When I went in to pick up my car I looked at the bill for $177.65 when I was told I was only being charged for the $70 tank and $10 of gas I approved. Once it was pointed out it was corrected. Overall there was no ownership for the time and money I spent to get to and from work, their lack of urgency and follow through cost me hundreds as well as my mental health while I did nothing without a car. We even ran out of groceries, and I had to wait to have time to have a family member take me because we do not live within walking distance of a store. More
