Excellent Experience Went to John L Sullivan on two occasions. Left info with two different sales guys and never got a call back. Then talked to my Father in Law about Maita and he gave me Tony Romano's name because he had done some fleet business with him in the past. Stopped by and talked to Tony. He was in the process of talking to another customer so he introduced me and my wife to Byron Mudd so he could get us started looking for a new truck. After taking to Byron he gave us a couple of options which we weren't interested in. Then he quoted us on a couple of four wheel drive trucks but we just couldn't afford it. Then both of them began searching for what we thought we could afford. It took some time and quite a bit of effort on their parts but finally found exactly what we were looking for. We then bought a rear wheel drive Silverado and are quite happy with it. These guys are pros. They said that they wanted to get us what we wanted and to become happy and satisfied customers. Job well done! I'm sure the company my wife works for will be back with some fleet business due to their efforts. More

Sorry for the long story, but you can not make this stuff up. So I chose to come to your dealership because of the relationship I was told you had with USAA. I live in Nevada and it was not a short trip to come down there and buy a truck. But you had the one I wanted in stock and there was a really good sale going on the 2500's. Josh reached out to me within minutes of getting my pre-approval from USAA for the truck I wanted and I made arraignments to come down last Saturday to see it. Before coming down, I confirmed with him that there wouldn't be any problems since I live in Nevada and I had this pre-approved financing through USAA. He told me that if we came to an agreement on the purchase, that I would be able to drive the new truck home on Saturday, but that we would have to meet up on Monday at a notary to sign some documents. Great, I got my family in my truck and made the trip down there to see Josh. In the three days leading up to my appointment, I got three phone calls and two emails confirming my appointment and making sure I was still coming. No problem with that at all. I really like open communication. Now fast forward to Saturday July 29th. I was a little early, my family was really excited to check out this new truck. Josh was on-time and had the truck pulled up for me to see. I test drove it, loved it, family loved it, and made a deal. I was ending up getting a bit less then what I expected for my truck, but I really can't stand the negotiation side of these things. I felt I was getting a fair price on the new truck so I took it. This is where everything derailed. Now Josh is telling me that I have to wait till Monday to have the truck delivered to me because of the the state taxes. Ok, they are less in Nevada then California, I see how this is working, but because of a back story (I will share in a minute) I really was ok paying more for the taxes and told him that. The next reason for waiting was that your DMV clerk doesn't work on Saturday, and there is no way to get atemporary registration done until Monday. I explained that if I could have a dealer plate, I will come back to Elk Grove on Monday and do whatever you needed me to. Well, the third excuse now is they won't let me take it till the bank "funds" the loan. But Tom Dittmar promised that he was faxing the documents to USAA on Saturday right after i signed them. And it will be funded by Monday. Tuesday at the latest, and I'd be able to take delivery. I'm not happy, but I accept that and move on. Drive home and wait till Monday. I call Josh on Monday morning and he told me he was going to check on the progress. I end up calling USAA myself and they confirm that they had not received the paper work from your dealership. Josh calls me back a little later and says that your finance guy has a stack of deals from the weekend and is going through them, but that I am a priority. That was 1030 Monday. I call back at 5pm Monday to ask how its going. Talked to Dan. Dan says he's going to look into it and call me back Tuesday before 10am. Tuesday at 10am Dan calls me and says that it was submitted to USAA but they need to wait for it to fund before they can deliver the truck to me. I have bought several vehicles from dealerships in my life and have never had to wait for the bank to send the money to the dealer before i could take delivery. I don't hear anything Wednesday, but I did leave a message for Dan, cause that's who I thought was working with me. I confirm with USAA that the loan is funded and paid the dealership Thursday morning. I'm expecting a call to arraign for delivery. Nothing. I start calling about 9 am. I left messages for Dan, Josh, some guy named Eric, and Rigo. Whoever answers the phone for your dealership confirmed Rigo was there, I expressed my strong desire to speak with someone, and they put me through to his phone. Still no answer and no return call. I even went online and did the chat thing on your website. Whitney said she was very sorry and would have someone call me right away. Today at 1:45 (the first communication I heard from you guys since Tuesday) I get this email from Josh; "Shannon we are working on getting the drivers set up to get you the truck tomorrow. What is a time window that works for you?" Not sorry we didn't call you, not a personal phone call. I'm worth a two sentence email from you guys after this week of a complete lack of communication. So, the back story. I'm not looking for sympathy, I paid what you advertised your truck for and I accepted what you offered to pay for my trade in. My wife has metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that is in her brain (20+ tumors). The Friday before we came to purchase this truck, she had a brain MRI with a follow-up appt on the following Tuesday. This test was going to tell us if she had weeks to live or a few months. This whole purchase for us and the timing was to be a distraction from cancer and what my family is going through, not to add stress to our lives, cause we got enough of that to go around. You guys were great up to the moment I signed the contract. And it went down hill from there. I didn't share this with you guys cause I wasn't looking for sympathy or special treatment outside of how you would treat any customer that walks into your dealership. I waited until I knew the truck was going to be delivered before even sharing my experiences with you. We weren't given terrible news last Tuesday, but just more questions, so goes the cancer battle. I'm not going to tell you how many people I know or how I want to blast you on social media, cause that really doesn't do anything and customer service survey's, well only matter if your level of service matter's to you. I just hope you learn that you don't know what people are going through when they walk in the door. You should treat every customer like they could be going through what my family is. And one last slap in the face, I took delivery today, August 4th, in Nevada. While my daughter and I stood int he parking lot watching out beautiful new truck pull into the parking lot, the delivery driver hit a parked car. Then spent 15 minutes trying to rub out the damage with baby wipes. Hows that for my $55,000 truck purchase. More
