My initial contact with Speedway was with Tasha via the website / Internet. She was helpful, knowledgable and led me through the process with ease from Saturday when i initially visited to Monday when I en website / Internet. It was nothing that I did, the day before the check engine light came on which was a result of the bad battery. When I called the dealership to see if they would take care of it they told me that I had to bring my car in and if it was something on their part they would fix it, if not I had to take care of it.I then told them that I lived an hour away and that it wasn't possible, and that did not seem to matter to them. I asked to talk to a manager and was told that he would give me a call. The call that I received was not from a manager but from the service department (they were very nice) explaining to me that I had to bring the car in. When I first called them I didn't think that it would have been a big deal to them but apparently the $75 for a new a decent battery is too much for them, so I got to buy it myself. Other than the battery the car runs great and we did get a good deal, but it is disappointing that I within in a week of buying a new car I had to buy a new battery when it was no fault of mine. He listened closely to what we were looking for and took us outside to look at a variety of pickups on the lot and he was very descriptive about the features in this great Dodge Ram Hemi 1500 Big Horn we came across. It was exactly what we were looking for. Owning a business ourselves he knew that the amount of time we had to spend shopping around was stressed and limited. He didn't give us any of the lines that you usually hear at auto dealers. He was serious and sincere. For excellent service and no time to waste, go see Troy at Speedway Auto in Lansing. When we left we were new owners of just what we were looking for. Great Staff. When we were ready to sign on the dotted line they introduced us to Rick Hansen. He stood up shook our hands and from that moment on it was all laughs and of course paperwork. He explained very clearly about what we were signing and before we knew it we were grabbing a piece of candy from his assortment that he has in his office(Yummy)and walking out the door with a smile and many laughs. He sure knows his stuff and direct answers are what we got to what we asked. Troy told Rick about the amount of miles we put on every year in our business and they got us a great deal on the warranty. I will go back to Speedway in the future for any and all of my vehicle purchases. Honesty and Respect is what they gave us, besides a great deal on a new truck. More
