Charged me $200 to tell me you’re right the torque converter is bad, and the recall is out of date so it will be $3500 to fix it. Talked to a transmission shop that said they would never just change converter is bad, and the recall is out of date so it will be $3500 to fix it. Talked to a transmission shop that said they would never just change the torque converter on a car with that many miles. I guess the dealer just wants me to come back and replace the transmission with them after spending $3500 on the converter. By the way the transmission shop would only charge $300 additional to put in an entire new remanufactured transmission. Really need to reconsider amount this dealer charges for their work More

I want to share my experience with the team at Maguire Toyota of Grand Island. Carly, Brianne and AI are beyond exceptional. We drove up 6 hrs to Grand Island to pick up a highlander that met our specs Toyota of Grand Island. Carly, Brianne and AI are beyond exceptional. We drove up 6 hrs to Grand Island to pick up a highlander that met our specs and was running late. Brianne and AI made sure all the paperworks were in place even before we arrived so all we had to do was sign off and take delivery. AI thank you for waiting for us and going above and beyond in making this happen, not to mention for staying on and waiting for us to arrive even after the dealership was closed for the weekend. We had an appointment at 9:30. Dropped off the car at 8:30 and left it there for the inspection, oil change and tire rotation. Didn’t anything all morning. Not done and it was going to be 1 more hour. Obviously they never started on the basic service yet. Now this was an inconvenience for us because we never expected it to take 4 1/2 hours and we had to make other arrangements for our afternoon plans. When you drop off your car and not want to sit there in the waiting room you expect your car will be worked on at the time of your appointment. I hope this will improve or I might go elsewhere for all our services. And we have only used Toyota on Grand Island for years. More
