Maguire Ford has an outstanding service and customer service department. On Tuesday May 11th we had our 2018 Ford serviced. A loaner car was unavailable so one of the salesman arranged for a porter to p service department. On Tuesday May 11th we had our 2018 Ford serviced. A loaner car was unavailable so one of the salesman arranged for a porter to pick up my husband and I which was 45 minutes from Ithaca. The driver Alex was very courteous and knowledgeable. My truck was in for scheduled maintenance. Coolant change, transfer case lube change, and new spark plugs. Driving home from the dealership, the vehicle began shaking. The tech had damaged the pigtail change, transfer case lube change, and new spark plugs. Driving home from the dealership, the vehicle began shaking. The tech had damaged the pigtail on the spark plug causing a misfire in the engine. My vehicle was towed back to the dealership, and in total was unavailable to me for 3 days. I did not feel like there was a sense of urgency on the part of the service staff, or that there was a genuine apology for the inconvenience that their error caused me. I was not offered a loaner vehicle or any form of compensation after paying nearly $600 for the scheduled maintenance. I did not get regular updates from the dealership on the repair progress, and finally had to call them to find out when I would get my vehicle back. I would not recommend this dealership for service. More
