WORST EXPERIENCE PURCHASING A VEHICLE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. I would give zero stars if possible. I do not recommend buying from this car dealership unless you want to be lied to and left on the back burner lik I would give zero stars if possible. I’ve been left with several thousands of dollars worth of repairs 8 hrs after purchasing a vehicle with a “fresh service” from what seems to be a D rated service center. Not only is their sale department a joke, their service center isn’t far behind the cometic act they call Mac Haik Ford. I purchased a $43,000.00 2017 F150 with 77,000 miles on it. After paying sticker price with no negotiating. The trucks torque converter went out in the way home. I’m from Pensacola, FL, nearly 4.5hrs from the dealership. I contacted the dealership immediately to let them know do the issue. Finally, after several text and phone to my salesman, Anthony, weeks later their “sales manager” Perry contacted me with a solution to my problem. They offered to take the truck back on trade. That’s great, thank you! (Wait, it gets better..) So, I found a close to comparable truck on their website to trade. Got a buyers order from them (Perry and Anthony) got my credit pulled AGAIN (it’s been several weeks by this point) and a new loan for the trade. A before I was supposed to make the 9hr round trip journey to bring their broken truck back to them, I receive a cal with them telling me they sold the truck i just got the new loan for. More than frustrated by this point (2 months in) I called Ford corporate to see if I had any option for assistance. Once Perry “the manager” found out I contacted corporate for assistance, he pitched a fit and had his salesman (he didn’t see the need to call me himself to tell me), call me to say “deals off. We aren’t gonna do anything to help you because you called corporate for help” Basically he sent the message saying it’s your truck and your issue to deal with now even tho it happened hours after purchasing it. That said $43k, hours of phone calls, text and emails with zero help later, I’m stuck with a $4,000+ transmission repair, among other issues with the truck they were made aware of, and no help from a “reputable dealer”. With this kind of management practice and customer service, you’d be better off going to a buy here pay here lot and save yourself some money. Learn from my mistake of purchasing from Mac Haik Ford and STEER CLEAR OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. AVOID THE FRUSTRATION THEIR DECEITFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND POOR FOLLOW UP CUSTOMER SERVICE. Feb-2022 Warning, they are currently backed up and require you to leave your vehicle for several days. If I would have known this information before making an appointment online, and planning my sched require you to leave your vehicle for several days. If I would have known this information before making an appointment online, and planning my schedule around that, I would have made other arrangements. They were very callous about telling me I can only drop off my vehicle for a couple of days and they are a first-come-first-serve business. The service management is not handling the appointment book correctly. They are not communicating to their customers their current backed out status. This makes someone like me give them a negative rating because my time was wasted because they did not communicate. If you use them, call first, do not use the online appointment book. More
