About 15 minutes after setting the appointment on-line, I got a call from Robert Buckly. He said, "I noticed you made an appointment for Friday and your out of town. You really don't want that because we are so busy your truck may get stuck here over the weekend. Bring it in tomorrow (Wednesday)." I was shocked that ANY service center would care that much to call me to re-schedule. When I arrived I could see that the dealership was extremely loaded with work. Robert said they have been slammed for a couple of years with the growth in Georgetown. He said we will get to your truck as quickly as possible. They gave me ride to the car rental. The NEXT day Robert called said they tested all the injectors, the fuel, the fuel delivery system, they cannot find any rough idle. And we talked about the recent recall and some other work that has been done to the truck. I drove the truck and it seemed to run fine. I don't know what it was that caused the rough idle but it was gone. Robert said to see the cashier and wished be a Merry Christmas. At the cashier, the bill was ZERO. I asked what about the tech time, I need to pay for his time. She said NO CHARGE. I was amazed. They not only got my truck in early, spent time looking for a transient problem, and then did not charge me. I will always to the Mac Haik Dodge in Georgetown. And I really appreciate Robert Buckly. These guys are HACKS, and lying SOBs. They jerked me around for several hours over two days, regarding a 2nd key fob on. 2024 dealer certified Kia Sorento. Long story short, they first wanted me to pay for them to get a 2nd key that said didn’t come in when they took the car in on trade, (I walked away); then they called me back and said they’d pay for it at the same negotiated price; then the next day, they came back and said they’d only pay for the new fob - but I had to pay $185 to Kia to get it programmed!!! Who does that!!! I walked away for good!! Bought a better (used) DEALER CERTIFIED Kia Sorento X-line SX Prestige AWD (with both keys, LOL😝) from Kia of S. Austin the next day for the same price out the door!! Avoid Mac HACK (Haik) at ALL COSTS!! More
They tried to lawball my tradein. Estimates are $32k and they offered $24k. And when I got upset they said that "We did a mistake, gave a price with wrong trim" which is funny. Avoid at all costs! They don't do the work they said they would do for a recall. Takes weeks once they finally agree. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They said they did the recalls yet all the old parts are in vehicle! Since these are airbag recalls huge safety issue! I brought my 09 wrangler in for the passenger side airbag and clockspring recall and i also wanted an odd death wobble diagnosed (extremely random and hard to duplicate). I was told vehicle was ready to pick up the same day and that both recalls were completed and tech supposedly was able to duplicate said issue and i just needed a whole new front end at 3 grand out the door. i was shocked at the price and did decline suspension work, i went to pick up vehicle at 5:50 on friday night and was surprised at the the 215 diag charge where i wasnt given a break down in parts, nor any reason why the entire front end just needed to be replaced. The cashier could even find my ro due to advisor deciding to write it up in an entirely different name. upon recieving vehicle, i started to wonder if recalls were even done. i looked up 19s33 and it shows replacement of steering column shrouds which i inspected and they were the original ones. I called this morning to speak with the service director and after he gathered info he called me back stating that the recieved parts were damaged and when i inquired about the diagnosis of just an entire front end he stated that it probably just needed a steering dampener. Now when i picked up the vehicle, i was told all repairs were completed but how is that possible if parts were damaged? i dont feel any of the recalls were done and the director is trying to cover up for tech, i also dont think i got any value of the 215 and would like a refund due to the tech just attempting to throw the kitchen sink at the issue.
