I have been in Houston hundred's of times visiting my in-laws over the past 48 years my wife and I have married. My father-law passed away in mid February and my wife and I were in route to the visitatio in-laws over the past 48 years my wife and I have married. My father-law passed away in mid February and my wife and I were in route to the visitation services for her father prior to the funeral the following day. The 2018 duramax has been one of the nicest trucks I have owned, and I was totally blown away when the transmission shut down in front of Mac Haik Ford. I coasted into the parking lot where it totally stopped. I had placed some transmission fluid in the truck along the way. While in the parking lot I spilled some fluid on the ground. I went inside and spoke with the mgr Kyle Sample. Mr. Sample was very understanding and told me I could leave the truck there until I could make arrangements, and not to worry about the mess. One of my son's came to the Ford house and with a strap helped me to get it to a parking spot. ( he was there also for the funeral ). The transmission was so tight we were forced to leave it partially in the drive area. Once again Mr. Sample was gracious enough to except that. The following day we attended the funeral and with all the things going on it was very late and I was just unable to do anything else with the truck. (By the way, I offered to trade the truck in that night but you didn't have a Chevrolet that was right for me. ) I called your Ford house Monday and made arrangements for the truck to be taken to Mac Haik Chevrolet. I was contacted by Kayla the next and told her what happened. Kayla handled everything from that point on. What a great asset you have with her. The next thing I know is that Kayla is calling me to let me know my truck has been repaired under warranty and I owe absolutely nothing. I am a retired Fort Worth Police Auto Theft Detective 45 years. I can't think of a time when I have been treated so nice and professionally. My wife had to be admitted to the hospital within a couple of days after we returned home. She doesn't drive anymore, so I have been trying to get transportation to Houston to get my truck. I should be there this week. You guys have a couple of top notch employees, and from their actions I'm sure it's part of your costumer training.
