Oil Change and a "leaky" tire I took my car in for the scheduled oil change. I mentioned that my front passenger tire kept losing air. That morning as I backed out of our garage I took my car in for the scheduled oil change. I mentioned that my front passenger tire kept losing air. That morning as I backed out of our garage I had less than 10psi. So happy that there is a WAWA within 5 miles of our home. Filled the tire and proceeded on my way. Fortunately, we purchased the tire protection. I was back on the road in about 2 1/2 hours with my oil changed, new tire on the front passenger side, and a nice clean car. More
Great Amenities, Below-Average Customer Service There are many amenities I like about this service center: online scheduling, loaner vehicles, being able to pull my car into the garage rather than p There are many amenities I like about this service center: online scheduling, loaner vehicles, being able to pull my car into the garage rather than parking it, the findings reports that are texted to my phone, and the fact that my car has been washed and vacuumed when I pick it up. However, there are a few things that keep me from being a regular customer. Most of them are customer-service related. Typically, the service advisors are not very friendly, are difficult to get in touch with via phone, and seem annoyed with me or too busy to answer my questions when I talk with them in person. Additionally, I feel that concerns I have about my vehicle are not taken seriously, and that the primary goal of the service department is to maximize my bill while doing as little work as possible—rather than actually diagnosing and fixing problems. My car generally runs rough, has a rich exhaust output, and frequently misfires. Despite many visits to this service center to address these issues (beginning within the first year I owned the car), they still have not been solved. (I have all but given up at this point...) During this most recent visit, I had a concern about my “low oil pressure” light coming on. This problem actually was solved. However, I had to leave a voicemail for—and eventually chase down—the service advisor to get any information about the cause of the problem and the solution. Overall, I love my Mini. However, the service I have received since purchasing will likely drive me to shop elsewhere the next time I am in the market for a new vehicle. More
Mini Countryman Safety Recall (18V-557) Fuel Pump Plate My wife (Gloria) called to make an appointment to have this addressed. When she first called, she was told that the part was not available and to call back later when the part might be available. She called back again and got to someone more familiar with the recall and was told to show up the next day at 10 am. When I got there with the car the next day, it was not on the service schedule and had to wait until Charlotte was consulted. The car was taken in and a loaner was provided. I got a call later that day (Thursday, 11-1-18) and was told the part was secured and would be installed on Friday. I got a text when the car was finished and picked up the car without any problems. Overall, it was handled but the first phone call was not a good experience. Somehow (according to Charlotte) the first call may have gone to the parts department and they did not have all the details around the recall. More

I was able to recharge the battery (fortunately, the car was at home). The third time it happened I decided to have the battery and charging system checked. I was able to get a service appointment within two days. I brought the car in the morning and the car was ready by late afternoon. Efficient and quality service. More
