Easy to schedule loaner car perfect I am a mini owner so by definition a little "difficult" it was simple to schedule my service on time, I received text and email reminders. When it was time for my appointment, I was checked in and able to work in the waiting area. The waiting area is great, quiet, drinks (water, juice, coffee, etc) and healthy snacks! My cars was done on time as promised. Follow-up parts were needed and I received a great clubman S as a loaner! The loaner was clean, full of gas, no wasted time or effort. The texting system kept me appraised every step of the way. Flawless execution. More

Over abd above expectations The waiting room was quiet, comfortable and inviting. Time was taken to answer all my questions and bumper was replaced because of fading. Not quite the great experience received at Exton location I found the entire experience to be uncoordinated and disorganized, which is far from the experience I used to have at Exton. First, it is a difficul I found the entire experience to be uncoordinated and disorganized, which is far from the experience I used to have at Exton. First, it is a difficult location to actually get into if you are traveling south on 202 because you cannot make a u-turn at Penn Oaks and you cannot access the lot from Penn Oaks without a special decal on your car. I sat at the gate waiting for it to open and then phoned the service center to ask how to access the lot. Instead of just telling me to go back out to 202 and enter from there, I received a long explanation about the decal. Just tell me there is another entrance and direct me there. Upon arrival, there appeared to be a shortage of staff working the drop-off. When someone finally did approach me, I was asked for my name and what services I was there for and if I would be waiting. Isn't there some gadget that is supposed to "read" each vehicle so that they know who just pulled in? And I took the time to enter all of the services I was there for online. It should all be in your system, including the loaner I requested. Several back and forth trips to the car for insurance card and lots of waiting around. Once my car was being serviced, the communication with Preston was great. He took care of everything. It just was not the end-to-end great experience I was used to. This location is closest to me, though, so I will be back. More

My Local Garage Knew Better.. I took my mini to a local garage to have the inspection completed. They informed me that the Body Control Module needed to be programmed by the Mini D I took my mini to a local garage to have the inspection completed. They informed me that the Body Control Module needed to be programmed by the Mini Dealer, as only they have the equipment to do this. We live in Lancaster, PA - and our local dealer is over an hour drive away. So, my wife and I took the trek in two cars so we could get home, once to drive there, and once to pick it up. The dealer texted me the quote, which is fine, but no Body Control Module was mentioned, only a bulb was blown and I needed an 02 sensor fixed. My local garage told me the BCM is the reason my bulb was out, but i trusted that a MINI dealer would know what they're talking about. They replaced the bulb, and again I trusted them after a day at work, and drove home thinking all would be good. At home, I realized the bulb still does not work. I changed the bulb myself, still does not work. I was charged $250 to replace this bulb that costs a fraction of that, and literally takes 20 seconds to fix. I also had them replace the 02 sensor for an additional $400 while they were at it. The car is not worth the effort that i'm now putting into it to fix. So, instead of just replacing it (which i would have done if they had quoted me an actual BCM replacement), I spent $700 and 2 evenings getting my car to these guys. I called customer service, and the receptionist asked if she could answer my question. As i started speaking, she rudely interrupted me with no explanation and put me on hold. I put down the phone and i'm getting a new car, i'm sure their 'solution' would be to have me drive all the way down there again to take a look at it - not interested in wasting my time. More

Preston is top notch because he is friendly, efficient and always provides me with all the information I need to make good quality decisions about my car (plus he even laughs at my jokes!). Even though the new (old) location is a bit longer for me to drive, I will continue to bring my Mini to the experts at Otto's! More
