I’ve owned 2 MINI’s and will never own another. Mini of West Chester has had a history of saying I needed service and/or parts that were not due or needed. On 5/17 I called them out on this as th Mini of West Chester has had a history of saying I needed service and/or parts that were not due or needed. On 5/17 I called them out on this as they falsified a PA State Inspection trying to get me to pay $1800’out of pocket for an engine mount. Car is a CPO with a little over 64k miles on it. They tried telling me an engine mount is a wear part. It’s a hydraulic part and not a wear part. See Facebook and Google Reviews for more details. When I asked very specific questions and my allegations of fraud were made, the dealership refused to answer and/or talk to me. My main allegations are against Christopher Clayton and Caroline Combs but Chad Carey is the General Manager of the dealership and is very aware of my allegations and is therefore compliant in the FRAUDULENT actions by his dealership. Not to mention that my car drove perfectly fine when I drove it into the dealership that day. CONSUMER BEWARE! Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Commonwealth of PA as well as The Pennsylvania State Police have all been notified of my “experience” with this shady dealership. Last year, around June, I brought my Mini Countryman in for inspection and was quoted a significant amount for repairs, which unfortunately I was unable to afford at the time. Fast forward to March 19, 2024, I reached out to schedule the most critical repairs for my vehicle. Upon calling the dealership, I was directed to Preston's voicemail. After several attempts, I finally reached him, only to be informed that he was busy with another customer and would call me back. Despite waiting patiently for over a day and a half, I did not receive any follow-up. Upon my insistence, Preston eventually contacted me and we discussed the repairs, although I found his communication unclear and confusing. I requested that my boyfriend speak with him for further clarification, and provided Preston with his contact information for a scheduled call the following day after 2 o'clock. Unfortunately, Preston failed to reach out as promised, leading to further frustration on my end. Today, I made the decision not to proceed with repairing my car at your shop due to this disappointing experience. I understand that providing a detailed account may seem lengthy, but I believe it's essential to convey the full extent of my experience for future improvements. There was a minor hiccup in compatibility with some ancillary parts, for which Anthony quickly, professionally and cheerfully corrected. Later down the road, I experienced an issue at my local dealership who are not as professional and customer-centric as Anthony, and Anthony went above and beyond to help with this issue. In summary, we need Anthony to propagate his professionalism all across the industry! More
I was happy Ottos provided me with a loaner car. I was definitely not happy when I asked for some instructions on the operation of the new vehicle. I was told it is just like my MINI. Imagine how stupid I felt at your entrance gate when the car in front of me could not open the gate and wanted me to back up....I could NOT get the car into reverse! I am usually very happy with my treatment at your business though. More
Kevin and his staff TOTALLY exceeded my expectations with the service they provided. The purpose of my visit was to replace turn signal bulbs, but other things I didn't even know needed attention were also a the service they provided.
