I can not say how impressed I have been with Prestige Mini and their service department. I recently had my car serviced and I was in need of a part not in stock. When the part arrived, not only did I have an appointment automatically set up (and emailed) to me, but there was also a loaner car available for me (set up by Matthew Halliwell of course). Matthew Halliwell's professionalism and enthusiasm help to make the Mini environment a pleasant one to experience; whether it is first thing in the morning or just before he is ready to leave for the evening, he is always there to greet with a smile. I would be remiss if I did't discuss the quality of the work that I received by service technician #205 (John). John recently worked on my vehicle and not only spent the time to ensure that the situation was corrected, but he left me notes on the invoice so that I was able to see what he did. Additionally, he called me on the telephone to ask EXACTLY where I was experiencing my issue. I can not say enough good things about Prestige Mini. For a dealership they are fantastic. From Lauren and Kristy (sp?) greeting, to Jeremy Gold making sure all my part requests are in and shipped properly, to Alan Sheynin always in the building (seriously he's always there) to answer any questions, it is a great dealership. I should point out that I do not like the current attire of the staff. My vote (which doesn't count) is to go back to the Polo shirts; forget the buttondowns! More

He always knows what we are looking for and want in our cars and is able to answer any questions we have with a friendly yet professional knowledge. Yet I feel like I was just talking with my brother the whole time! The entire sales experience is always very pleasant and truthfully as much FUN as driving the mini is! Alan Sheynin the Finance/Business Manager, was more than helpful in the finance of our 6th mini! I left his office feeling like I was Family not just another finance customer. He is very (I don't want to make him blush too much here but…) sweet! A very kind man indeed. What a pleasure it was to finance with him. Great service at Prestige too! Always friendly & efficient. Appointments for service are easy to get and they always are able to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. Matt Halliwell is for the most part our main contact person in Service and he is always friendly and courteous to us and especially in answering all my husbands’ questions. Any minor problem we might have with our tire insurance policy he takes care of right away... so we don't have to argue with the insurance company. I am also thankful to all the guys & gals behind the scene for keeping my minis happy & healthy! Customers are a # 1 priority here and you can tell! This was the first time my wife and I actually enjoyed buying a car. All staff provided a friendly and professional environment. Dwight Senior listened and answered every question we asked about the Mini Cooper. His politness and informative presentation made our decision to make a purchase at that moment a very easy decision. The product sells itself, but Dwight's outstanding salesmanship convinced us buying from Prestige Mini was a sound decision and one we would be very happy with. Dwight worked within our budget and made our experience a comfortable one where the price negotiations exceeded our expectations and we were able to get the exact car we wanted at a price we could easily afford. My experience with Prestige Mini was great, and I would highly recommend this dealership to others. More

Our Mini was involved in an accident and we brought it to Prestige (where we purchased it) to have it fixed. One excuse after another and a three week promise to fix it has turned into 6 weeks and countin Prestige (where we purchased it) to have it fixed. One excuse after another and a three week promise to fix it has turned into 6 weeks and counting. They installed the wrong radiator, they carelessly burned through the rear bumper when painting it (by using the wrong paint apparently) each mistake of which they admitted as their fault, has delayed the completion of the job. This was an insurance claim and until we get the final supplemental check Prestige Mini will not give us our car. We have now made our second car payment for a vehicle we don't have, compliments of Prestige Mini. Oh, did I mention that they would not give us a loaner because the job was going to take too long?! Prestige is an awful dealership, we are amazed that they can claim they are the best in NJ. Mini Corporate should really re-evaluate their system if this claim is true. We are so disgusted with this experience we are thinking of just selling our (brand new by the way) Mini and going with a different car. At the very least we are taking our business to Morristown Mini and hoping to have a better experience. - Jeremy & Jess More
I went to Prestige in Feb 08 to have an oil change. The quote was $84, a little higher than other Mini dealerships, but given the falling dollar, it seemed in line. I asked the mechanic that would be working on my car to do a visual inspection of my tires because I'd had some thumping noises coming from the rear of the car. He offered to ride with me on the streets behind the dealership to see if he could hear what I was talking about; alas, the roads were in such poor condition, even I could not pick out the noise or any vibration whatsoever. I asked if he would still visually inspect my tires when the car was on the lift and he agreed. Once the car was done, I asked if he'd seen any wear pattern irregularity or tire damage and he said no. ONE MONTH LATER, I took the car back to the garage that sold me the tires--and in a minute, they found two huge flat spots on the treads. At first they thought it was belt separation, but it turned out to be some other kind of fault--they sent the tire back to the broker for proper diagnosis. My question is, why didn't the trained Mini specialist catch this? I had even told the Mini mechanic that I suspected a problem with the treads. All he had to do was run his hand over the tread surface on two out of four tires. Other than being blind, all of the people at Prestige were very nice. Unfortunately, the pricing structure Mini has put in place is utterly ridiculous--$40 for wipers?!?--so I can't say that I'll be visiting Prestige for any more regular maintenance. More
Very customer oriented and informative about customizations for Cooper Works conversions, engine mods, exhaust and cosmetics. Dealership is 60+ miles from home but worth the trip. Service shop is immaculate. Great service experience. If the other NJ/PA Mini Shops were as customer friendly as these guys, people like me wouldn't drive an hour and a half for scheduled maintenance. UPDATE: December 10, 2004<br>Second trip to Prestige for oil and minor repairs. Loaner car ready, service techs attentative and new car purchase offer was very good. Everyone was there to make me comfortable. Great Dealership. Augie Prager has his team's act together. More
