I have recently purchased a 2011 All-4 Mini Countryman and would have liked to say my experience with this purchase was a good one, but, it has been a nightmare. I came into the dealership with a “pre-bui and would have liked to say my experience with this purchase was a good one, but, it has been a nightmare. I came into the dealership with a “pre-built” car ready to purchase as close a replica to my pre-built car as possible. After reviewing my pre-built Countryman, Ms. Hilyer located a car that she claimed was in production, which was similar to, but lacking in color, finish, accessories , but would be delivered within five weeks. The timing was critical as I needed a car to get to and from work after my lease with Honda expired. Although reluctant because it was not the car that I wanted, I acquiesced because of the guarantees and repeated assurances by Ms. Hilyer that I would have the car by May 16, 2011. Every time I called Ms. Hilyer to request a status update, it would take her days to respond back to me. On May 16, 2011, I was ready to pick up my new Countryman. Ms. Hilyer called me on the day I was scheduled to pick up my new Countryman to tell me that the car had not yet arrived and it was now expected on May 23, 2011. At this point I had no means of transportation, which Ms. Hilyer knew from previous discussion. I requested a “loaner” car in the interim and was emphatically denied such an accomodation. Ms. Hilyer then forwarded my call to Dan Viedlhouse who guaranteed me the car would be at Mahwah Mini, worst case scenario by May 23, 2011 and in the meantime they were not permitted to extend me a loaner car. Suffice it to say, the car was not available on May 23, 2011. After renting a car for ten days, and incurring expenses of $300.00 for the rental car, my Contryman finally arrived on May 25th. Ms. Hilyer left me a voicemail on the 24th at 4:52 p.m. to schedule an appointment with the finance department for the next day. When I called her back moments later, I was informed that she left for the day at 5:00 pm. I, therefore, had contacted the finance department directly to schedule an appointment. I wish I could say I was excited to pick up the car on the 25th, but, after having been unnecessarily lied to, incurring hundreds of dollars in expenses, and the continued frustration of ignored telephone calls and unresponsiveness, I was completely disgusted with Mahwah Mini, Ms. Hilyer and the lack of customer service.Though delivery of my Countryman was guaranteed within five weeks, it was actually delivered in almost eight weeks. I understand that delays occur which are beyond the dealership’s control. However, had Mahwah Mini corrected the time projection shortly after my purchasing the Countryman, I could have made other accomodations to borrow a car so as not to incur rental fees. Had Mahwah Mini had some foresight to know that though these care are scheduled to arrive by x date, they actually arrive more than two weeks later, I would have been prepared for such delays and I would have purchased my “pre-built” Countryman rather than settling for the car that was scheduled to arrive quicker.I must admit, this experience has taken away the joy and beauty of my Countryman for me and I’m not sure if I will purchase another Mini (or BMW for that matter) again, but I assure you, I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership and will highly recommend to all of my friend, family (and anyone who will listen) not to to go the Mahwah Mini dealership. More

He has helped us so much. he made us feel so comfortable he did'nt push anything on us that we didnt want . he located the mini cooper dealership. I bought a car here in April 2010 and come back for regular maintenance. Every time I come here I am greeted by name by the salesman who sold me the car. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Well it's been about four weeks since I bought my 2007 Mini Cooper. I've been so busy having fun with the car that I have not had time to write about my experience at Prestege Mini in Ramsey. I've been going back every Friday afternoon to get a free car wash and a free cup of coffee and I enjoy looking around watching others getting in their new cars. Sprio was my salesman and he was very frendly and right straight to the point with all of my questions. We went for a ride and right away I new I wanted the car. From that point on Sprio just got all my info. and within days I was driving the car. Sprio was very professional and easy to talk to. I recommend Sprio and Prestage Mini to anyone who wants to enjoy life and drive a car that gets great gas milage and is just FUN! The most important thought I want to share with everyone is go for it and enjoy life. When I was there on my last car wash I watched a lady in her mid fifties loading up her new mini from her old mini and we shared our enthusiasm with the love of the car. I had been contemplating purchasing a Mini for a few months. I showed up at Prestige looking to test drive the new Countryman All4 and with little delay I was out on the road. After which, I decided if all was right I wanted to purchase a vehicle. I did my own research and wanted to be sold. I also decided I wanted to build-my-own. Motoring Advisor Robert Filenbaum, Sales Manager Brian Blum and the rest of the staff all worked together to make it happen. During production and up until delivery everyone at Prestige had gone out of their way to assist me and answer all my questions. Even now after the sale I feel confident that if need be I can contact their knowledgeable and courteous staff at any time. I also have full intentions in having them service my vehicle. If you’re in the market for a Mini I highly recommend contacting Prestige. More

From first enterring the dealership, to driving home with the new car, just a sincere positive feeling. Bob Filenbaum is great rep for Prestige. I can't describe in words his friendly manner. We just enjoyed speaking with him. Of course he focused on the car and our needs. Brian Blum was there to help with our questions. Also a nice sincere Prestige rep. The last step was working with the financal manager. I believe her name is Angela, but not 100% sure. Please check and make sure of her name. She expained all the different "options" and did so in a way that we liked. In the past, we also left with our heads spinning. Our experience with Bob and Brian at Prestige Mini was nothing but impressive. Bob, our sales representative took time to demonstrate all the vehicle's capabilities and answer all my questions during the nothing but impressive. Bob, our sales representative took time to demonstrate all the vehicle's capabilities and answer all my questions during the research phase of our purchase. When we decided to proceed with ordering our MINI Countryman he helped us wade through the seemingly endless options in order to ensure we were ordering the perfect car for us. He was extremely detail oriented and demonstrated excellent communication skills at all times. Throughout the entire deal we spoke on the phone and through email frequently. I never felt I had to wait long for answers or that I was being rushed into a deal I was uncertain of. Once we decided the vehicle was right for us we moved on to the finance stage and we were helped by Brian Blum. Brian was very candid and frank when talking numbers. Since I have a finance background myself I wanted to see as many scenarios as possible to be sure we were selecting the right financing/payment plan for our family. Brian never pushed to hard in any one direction and I felt like he simply objectively laid out the pros and cons of each option. In the end, we ended up financing through a third party and even though I'm sure Brian would have been happier if we financed through MINI he completely respected our decision and helped us with all the paperwork. At the end of the day a LARGE reason why we ended up going with a MINI was because of the outstanding service both of these gentlemen showed. We felt like (and we hope we are right about this) that because of their consumate professionalism throughout the sale we can expect the same service from MINI for the life of the vehicle. I would recommend Prestige MINI and Bob and Brian in a heartbeat to anyone interested in the vehicles they sell. More
I was looking for a car which was great on gas and fun to drive. I had stopped by Prestige Mini of Mahwah NJ and was greeted by Spiro Bogris one of the sales associates. After answering many of my questions about the car, without any pressure, took me for a test drive which was the clincher on my decision to buy the Mini Clubman. The professionalism that was shown and his knowledge of the car was instrumental in my decision making.After the purchase I had stopped by a few times for some explaining of various systems that the car has and he spent as much time as was needed explaining it to me. After asking some technical questions he introduced me to Anthony Vozza the head mechanic who also took his time explaining various functions and details of the Hows and Whys that you wouldn't find in the manuals.Nice to see that after the "Sale"one still gets the same attention as before. I highly recommend Prestige Mini and their staff. More

This is the 6th car I have purchased in my life, but the first time I remember the process being exciting and stress-free as opposed to a grueling haggle.
