This is my 2nd lease with Prestige. I considered Morristown as they are less than 1/2 the distance and I am time poor. My experience at Morristown was not a good one which I won't expand upon. Needless to say going back to Erin and Prestige was a 'breeze' and she 'got it' with regards me needing everything to happen quickly and with the minimum of fuss. With any purchase I consider the biggest turn-off is a sales person being pushy. Erin is not pushy and you feel she listens and is there to get you what you want. Franco in finance made the paperwork straightforward and I was able to leave the office in Fairfield, do the paperwork at Prestige and drive back to the office within 2 hours including photographs with Erin and return of my last lease. Bernadette - thank-you for placing my lumbar support in the new vehicle - I realized on the drive back that I'd left it in the old lease and you must have put it in the new car during inspection. If you are even just thinking of considering a Mini and you are in the Tri-State then go to Prestige and if you are going to Prestige then make sure to ask for Erin and you'll enjoy the experience and get a good deal for an excellent car. After reading the many great reviews on here, as well as some MINI message boards, I contacted Erin about a new MINI Hardtop. She definitely went above and beyond, not only when ordering, but giving me updates along the way as the car was built, shipped over and finally handed over to me. Erin went over every feature inside and out of the car when I took delivery, and made sure I arrived home safe and sound. Franco, the Finance Advisor, was a pleasure as well. No pressure, paperwork was signed in 10 minutes. From the moment I walked into the Prestige Mini showroom to the moment I drove off the lot with my brand new Countryman the experience was just entirely positive. My wife and I worked with Erin Hilyer, who really defies the traditional idea of what a car salesperson is like (and I did have that stereotypical car buying experience at other dealerships and other brands of cars before settling on Prestige Mini). She was super friendly, very genuine, extremely honest and direct, and passionate about Minis (actually has owned something like 7 of them herself!). I had made an appointment to test drive a couple Minis and upon arriving at the dealership the first time she was thoroughly prepared. She had a couple cars to drive, was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles, took the time to point out all the features, and spent over 2 hours with me! This was before she could really know that I was an active buyer and not just someone looking to for a joy ride. I'm not exaggerating when I say the experience was so positive I was sold on the car, the brand, and the Mini community by the time I left the showroom. After that, it simply became a matter of figuring out which Mini I wanted, and how soon I could get it! In the couple weeks that followed, Erin took my wife and kids on subsequent test drives of the Countryman, spent more and more time with us, and helped us understand and compare the many optional features of the car. She was truly thoughtful in her recommendations, and seemed to care much more about finding us the right car than simply selling us one. In addition to Erin, the rest of the staff is great. The manager takes the time to say hello (and send appropriate follow-up letters offering to answer any questions) and the finance guy was terrific. Got us a great rate (far better than our bank, Chase), was also super knowledgeable, well prepared on the day of purchase, and just a really pleasant guy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership and Erin in particular. If you're looking to buy one of these awesome vehicles (and the car really is awesome!), definitely reach out to Erin.
