I needed an oil change and was greeted by Ryan Malin (Service Manager) and Nelson. Ryan has LOTS of experience with the MINI cars and fields all questions. Customer oriented and attentive. Dennis (mechanic), disputed work suggested by body shops and clearly articulated areas of concern (immediate and otherwise) to me. Younger Scott (not sales), opened the back door of the Country man and at 6'2" showed the back seat capacity. He is extremely conversant and knowledgeable about the MINI, most cars in fact. The time flew. Dealership is great looking, lots of seating capacity, nice music, can walk to other venues if you need to but the time flew quickly. Easy to get an appt. Glad you are finally local to me!! More
The dealer was so efficient and friendly, overing use of iPads while you waited, coffee, tea, snacks on house. Out of all the Mini dealerships in the area, this has got to be the best service. Actually, this is the best service I've ever gotten in any car dealership. Initially I've always gotten my oil change done from Valvoline, never took it into the dealership cause Mini of Alexandria told me that I'd be charged $150 for an oil change cause my warranty was up. Then one day my Mini's engine light came on and I had no other choice but to bring it into the dealership. I actually didn't know Mini of Montgomery County was already up and running, I came across them accidently. I took my mini in and got amazing service right off the bat. Ryan is awesome, he knows the meaning of good customer service. Seriously, he makes you feel like he works for YOU. He found every single way possible to make sure I didn't shell out a single penny. Thanks to him, I actually found out my warranty is still good... so that means Mini of Alexandria screwed me over (they actually told me my warranty was up at 11,000 miles which is total bogus!). He felt bad that I've been paying for my oil change when I'm suppose to get them for free under my warranty, so he gave me a discount for later when I decide to upgrade my warranty. How nice of him?! My mini had it's check engine light on, it needed an oil change, it's tire pressure light was on, oh god, lots of things were wrong with my mini. But they fixed every single little thing, washed my car, scrubbed by rims, replaced my wipers, and cleaned every nook and cranny ALL FOR FREE. Things I didn't even mention, they discovered and fixed/cleaned. I'm not gona lie, I was thinking since I was still under warranty they might not do as great of a job on my car. But they proved me wrong. My mini looked brand spankin new like the day I first brought it home. :) I'm a super happy camper. I am extremely happy with the service from Ryan and every other employees at this dealership. Oh and on a side note, I live a lot closer to Mini of Baltimore and Mini of Annapolis, but I will only take my mini to Mini of Montgomery County cause that's how good their service is. :) More

they had the best service of all the dealerships i have been to, they did not try to take advantage of me like other dealerships try and the work done to the car was excellent and made my car feel brand ne been to, they did not try to take advantage of me like other dealerships try and the work done to the car was excellent and made my car feel brand new. from now on they will be the only ones working on my car. The location is great and the team seems very knowledgeable. I extended my maintenance plan and so am delighted that I will be able to take my car here as long as I live in Maryland. I went in with what I thought was a little problem with my seat, which ended up being a bigger problem. In asking them to do a check-up of the car, they found some undercarriage problems from hitting a po my seat, which ended up being a bigger problem. In asking them to do a check-up of the car, they found some undercarriage problems from hitting a pothole that, left unrepaired for another month, would have resulted in the oil completing leaking out of a busted gasket and wrecking my engine. There were several little things that were wrong that they fixed for free because they didn't take very much time. They were out of loaners so they gave me their shuttle to use for the weekend -- a 2011 Countryman -- which, after using, I will definitely buy as my next car. My service guy was named Ryan Malin -- you couldn't ask for a nicer guy. For the first time EVER, I felt he was actually on my side and trying to find ways to save me money instead of ways to pad the bill. I would recommend this place to anyone -- and I have 3 Minis. More
1- If you own a Mini and have to take it to this dealership, they do NOT shuttle you. So get ready to take vacation hours. (I work 8 miles from here, they offered to take me to the metro, but not m dealership, they do NOT shuttle you. So get ready to take vacation hours. UNBELIEVABLE!!) 2- I needed to get a loaner so I could get back to work (yes, I have a full time job and need to get back to work in the middle of the day... weird) and it took me a full hour to get the Enterprise car because for some strange reason they did not have a loaner to provide me with, even though they were aware I was dropping off my car. They also don't make appointments, this may be why they didn't have a car for me. Who doesn't make service appointments? 3- When I initially called in, the woman on the line was so rude to me, as if my asking for a shuttle after dropping off my car in the middle of the day was the craziest request she's ever had. 4- They promised my car in a half hour, it is now 2.5 hours later and still no call to let me know its complete. And I was supposed to wait in the lobby for it to be finished. I will NEVER be coming to this dealership again. I would rather drive 80 miles to Mini of Baltimore to get service than drive 8 miles to them. Seriously horrific service. More
