Brian was such a super star. Being a girl and knowing nothing about cars is frustrating. Certain places make you feel like your ignorant and try to take advantage, but not here. He really took his time in explaining everything which was an awesome thing for me. I will be back when I need more help and Brian is the one I want to deal with. Thanks again Brian, you ROCK! More

Oh, wait, the car is sold, you can purchase a 2011 - just order what you want. if I wanted to do that, I would have waited until the end of the year. My advice, go to another dealership. This place is a joke! UPDATE...8/25/10 I received a call from Jeremy (sales manager). He was very apologetic over Mike/Mark and offered several options for the purchase of a 2010 Mini Cooper. I appreciated his follow-up and follow through with me. More
My husband and I were very pleased with Brecht Mini and the wonderful employees and management. Everyone was helpful and friendly, answered any questions we had, and sold us an incredible Mini Clubman for the wonderful employees and management. Everyone was helpful and friendly, answered any questions we had, and sold us an incredible Mini Clubman for a great deal! We are so happy with our new Mini Clubman and will mention Brecht Mini to any person who asks where we got our very stylish clubman! Brecht is one of a kind, with genuinely nice people who we feel are family now! More
After a few months of nagging, I finally got my wife to agree to go test drive the cars that we were considering. About 10 years ago I got her to step into a dealership and that experience left us buying agree to go test drive the cars that we were considering. About 10 years ago I got her to step into a dealership and that experience left us buying used cars from friends for the past decade, pushy sales person, constantly leaving to "check with the sales manager," eventually my wife was crying, I was angry, the salesperson was telling us "Thanks for wasting his time" etc.... In contrast, our experience with Brecht Mini and Mike Davis was amazing. We were about 75% decided on the Mini Clubman, but had Acura, Audi and BMW on the list. We had to bring the kids with us (6 and 3 year old boys.) We were not expecting a good day. We drove onto the Mini lot, met Mike, and after an hour or so of switching kids in and out, switching drivers, trying the Cooper S vs. the non-S, we left the lot to go drive the other cars on our list without feeling pressured in the slightest. Not only was there no slick talk, wheeling and dealing, but we actually enjoyed the time that we had spent with Mike. We were surprised at how much we liked the Audi A3 TDI that we drove later in the day, took several days to sleep on it, and decided to go with the Mini Clubman Cooper S from Mike. We would have been happy with either car, but the combination of the car and the experience that we had with Mike made our decision to go with the Mini. Once we had completed the sale, Mike went through the car with us like he had designed the thing himself. He knew EVERYTHING about this car and patiently explained as much as we wanted to hear. I would certainly recommend Brecht Mini and Mike Davis for anyone considering buying a Mini. More
I had the pleasure of working with Brian Sanford while getting my car checked out for any warranty issues ect. I have never had such an amazing experience with any dealership and I own a lexus as well. Mi getting my car checked out for any warranty issues ect. I had an excellent experience with Brecht when buying my new Clubman. I was buying at the beginning of the new model year (2010) and, because of that, my price actually went down between when the order was new Clubman. I was buying at the beginning of the new model year (2010) and, because of that, my price actually went down between when the order was placed and when it was accepted at the factory. I also got a few new model year upgrades at no cost, which was a nice plus. I realize this would probably have happened anyway (since they came from over the dealer's head) but I appreciate that they let me know and didn't try to talk me into more to make up the difference. My MA was terrific, always responded to emails promptly, and took care of everything I asked. It sounds like people have had trouble with the service department, and since I haven't had to bring my car in to date, I can't comment on that. But I can state the the actual buying experience at Brecht, and Rod in particular, was terrific. More
there's nothing i dread more than buying a new car, but have to admit i've finally found a dealership and a salesman that i truly trust, and will definitely go back to everytime my family needs a new car. have to admit i've finally found a dealership and a salesman that i truly trust, and will definitely go back to everytime my family needs a new car. jim wolleson is not only a true professional, he's got a sense of character and honesty about him that is typically not found in the "car dealer" industry. i know there can sometimes be a stigma attached to car salesman, but now i know that is just a stereotype and nothing else. jim is someone i would be friends with outside of the dealership. brecht mini was also a pleasure to deal with on follow up visits to the service dept., too. highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new car....not just a mini either. My initial experiences with this dealership were positive, so when both of my Mini's needed servicing, I scheduled the appointments back to back with Brecht's service shop. My new Mini had less than positive, so when both of my Mini's needed servicing, I scheduled the appointments back to back with Brecht's service shop. My new Mini had less than 4,000 miles and the water pump was going bad. I took it in for a 7:00 a.m. appointment, but they did not even look at it until 11:30 a.m. and never had the courtesy to let me know the status, even though I was waiting in the customer lounge. I had to seek Brian out just to find out (and over hear) that the car would not be looked at until 11:30 a.m. I did not get a call about the status until 3:00 p.m. when they told me I could pick it up, but I had to get there by 4:00 p.m. Seeing that I live about an hour away, it was cutting it close, but I tried to get down there. Half way to the dealership on the I-15, there was a fatality accident and I called to let Brian know I would be late. Brian did not try to make any accomodation to allow me to pick up the car, even though I was half-way there. I had to turn around once the traffic cleared up for a total waste of time and gas. Two days later I took my second Mini in for brake pads and a look at my clutch. When I explained the problem with the clutch, I was promptly informed by Brian Sanford in an accusatory manner that any evidence of customer neglect/abuse would not be honored under warranty. Of course, that is understood, but since I take very good care of my Mini, his accusation was unnecessary and offensive, especially since I have regularly taken my car in to Brecht for servicing. If they were to find evidence of customer neglect/abuse, then they should bring this up. Not only did I have to hear this "speech" when I dropped it off, but later over the phone twice, again to me and once to my spouse. They determined it was the cable and said they would call me back the next morning after they test drove it. We never got the call back. We had to call several times the next day to find out the status, but it wasn't ready to pick up for another day. In all, I dropped off the car on a Tuesday, and it wasn't finished until Thursday afternoon. If it wasn't for our constant checking about the car's status, I don't know if it would have been ready even then. After they had told my spouse it was the cable, they later came back and said that the clutch cylinder was leaking. We asked for the old parts, but we were not provided with the parts, and after waiting for an hour, I left. No one ever acknowledged their lack of responsiveness or apologized for the accusations about customer neglect/abuse regarding the clutch. I provided my negative feedback on their customer service survey and I received a call on my home answering machine from Brian, when I had indicated that I should be contacted by cell phone. I eventually spoke with James Baumer, the Service Manager. He was completely uninterested in what I had to say and unaccountable for the actions of the service team. My "Brecht Mini experience" would have offended any reasonable person. More
