perfection I called the dealership on Saturday after seeing a deal too good to be true on the mini website. David reassured me that it was a real deal. I met him the following day. To make a long story short, I could not have asked for a better experience. He gave me all the time I needed. He was informative, but not at all pushy even though I was there after closing (oops!) I bought the car and love it! Thanks to everyone who stayed until my deal was done...ON MOTHERS DAY. Great Sales, Excellent After Care David Inturralde. Ask for that name. You will get someone who will treat you with respect and patience. No hard sell. You are always comfortable w David Inturralde. He will hunt down the best terms for your situation. He stays on top of it all, and when he says he will call you, he calls you. (Novelty in this town.) He will also do his very best to get your car to you as quickly as possible so you can start having fun with it. I picked Alexander Mini on two points: a friend has a relative working there and the reviews for this dealership beat the others around it. The reviews were not wrong. Through out, by every person, I have been treated well. There has never been an uncomfortable moment. I never felt someone was out for a buck. This is Mini, it sells itself. The people involved just slide you into the one that you want. I can already say something about the service department: My car was on the boat and on its way when I test drove a Mini on a Saturday (David did a search of cars available and found it for me). The car didn't arrive at the dealership until the following Friday. Knowing a buyer was excited to get their car, the service department had that car prepped, hood stripes on and ready to roll shortly after I got there, a little after 9:00 the next day. These guys are quick. Even though I have a Mini dealership closer to home, I'll be coming back here for my service. Thank you everyone and especially thank you David. I had a great experience and had a great first day with my Mini. UPDATE! First let me put in a disclaimer: Things happen. Sometimes things are not perfect. That out of the way we can talk about what happened when my new Mini's engine was found to be defective. My check engine light came on after about 2500 miles. I stayed on top of it and go the car in. Check engine lights are there for a reason and you will soon read why. The service department found misfires but couldn't find the reason. Ok, chalk that one up to a "phantom" code showing. I go my merry way. Check engine light comes on again. This time my service advisor, Ron, said he wanted to really see what was going on. I was handed a Mini Clubman and sent home. The service department found my engine was defective and Ron put in a request to get it replaced. At first everything looked like it would go smoothly. Ron kept me informed every few days. The problem was with Mini Corporate. They were a very slow with communicating with Nick Alexander, and we ended up with no idea when I would get an engine. I hit Mini USA's Facebook page and Mini USA got a hold of me next day. Bill at Mini USA launched an investigation and the engine was at the dealership the very next week. (Slowness at the dealership is not always the dealership's fault, but the corporate entity they depend on, and corporate is dependent on their vendors.) The mechanics at NIck Alexander worked some magic once that engine was in their hands. The engine was at the dealership noon Monday and I was called noon Wednesday that my car was ready. The aftercare at this dealership is great. They communicate with you and try hard to make whatever repairs or service as little an inconvenience as possible. I overheard (sorry for that) their interactions with other people and this crew goes out of their way to help. Thank you to Ron and the service crew. Next time I see you it will be for scheduled service....I promise. More

I got a good price on the vehicle and the customer service since then - and in particular with Ivan in the service department - has been incredibly fantastic. This dealership really takes care of its customers - something you rarely see anymore - and Ivan is simply the best. The customer comes first. They should clone him. More
I recently took my Mini into the Alameda location for repair and met with Desmond in the Service Department. Desmond listened to my complaint, was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with.
