Brought my Mini in for an oil change because I thought I was getting quality service for a good deal. Well I was wrong. I paid $120+ bucks for the oil change and when I got home I immediately smelled an oil was getting quality service for a good deal. Well I was wrong. I paid $120+ bucks for the oil change and when I got home I immediately smelled an oil burning smell. So I looked and looked to see if there was some type of oil leak or if they had accidentally spilled oil somewhere and it was just burning. I contacted the advisor Joe to inquire about bringing it back in for them to inspect it. I brought it in and they took a look at it but couldn't find anything. Although the service advisor smelled the same thing I smelled, he indicated that his tech could not find a leak and did not see any oil spilled anywhere. And that he had the tech do a minimal pressure wash just to be sure there wasn't any oil spilled anywhere. A few days later as I'm leaving my doctor's appointment and noticed blue smoke coming from the exhaust pipes. So now I'm confused and angry. I contacted the advisor again to ask is it normal to have do many issues AFTER receiving an oil change? My car wasn't doing any of these things prior to me bringing it in. Had it been doing it, they most likely would have indicated that on the paperwork. But none of that is included. What is included in the high prices for the recommended service there are suggesting. So now the advisor is saying I may need new valve stem deals and it's a $400 cost just for them to run diagnostics. Typical right? You bring your car in for service, as they break other things so you have to continue having to being it in for additional service. That's the only way they can make their money. My car is severely under mileage and it was in good condition prior to bringing it to Mini of Clear Lake. So I've made an appointment to bring it to a Mini specialist that had some good reviews to get an outside inspection and diagnostic test done. Once I know what the damage is I may pursue legal action. More
Kent and his crew did an excellent detail job on my Mother's car (a non-Mini), it looks brand new! Thank you to Kent, the detailers, and Fidel for arranging everything. Because of this gentleman we have switched our service to this dealership. It is refreshing to see a sales representative with this level of customer service. More

Amazing experience! Over 20 years I never stepped into a dealership all my vehicles were thru a broker to avoid the hassles of the salesperson. Spent nearly an entire day for service. I provided the problems I was experiencing and left my car. They provided an Uber ride to a nearby mall and in a little over an hour I received an em I provided the problems I was experiencing and left my car. They provided an Uber ride to a nearby mall and in a little over an hour I received an email with reported problems, what needed to be done, what they could do while my care was there....not much as most parts needed to be ordered, i.e.) tail lights, window motor..etc. They did have my 3rd tail light which they installed. All day and I got a third tail light. I asked for an appraisal as I might consider buying a new Mini...they forgot to do that until I got back to pick it up so another 45 minutes went by...someone asked if I might consider trading my Mini in (I was actually hoping to do this) but when I stated I would be interested in one of their cars...it was all the way across the lot and no one was really motivated to go get it. I guess business was TOO good and no need to sell another Mini. I won't be back....for needed repairs and/or my next Mini. I WILL purchase another Mini...but not here. Repairs $2600.00....Trade in offer $2000.00. 2004 Mini with 63000 miles and in good to excellent condition! Geez!!!! More
