Good on AC repair; disappointed on tailgate bend I took the Tahoe in for a replacement of the AC lines which had been found to be leaking. That repair was completed in good order. I mentioned to I took the Tahoe in for a replacement of the AC lines which had been found to be leaking. That repair was completed in good order. I mentioned to the checkin person that I had accidently backed the corner of my tailgate into a doorframe while unloading some stuff the previous week, bending the lower corner on the passenger side. I asked if they would take a look at it and see if it could be bent back easily. I discovered that apparently someone in the service team used a rather crude brute force approach to the bending back of the corner, and it certainly does not look like a repair anyone would be happy with. If it was going to be that difficult I would have expected maybe the body shop could have been involved to lend some expertise for a proper repair. More
