They stole $ 9200 from us and gave us a car that needs a new engine and new transmission and are refusing to repair or replace. RESEARCH THEM AND DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM... They have several attorney general cases and civil court cases pending. They are the people that buy junk cars for scrap and sell them as good used cars. I saw the car I wanted on the M2 website, a 2008 4 door Jeep rubicon. I called to inquire about the price and check on the car. The next day the price was reduced to exactly what I asked for. I talked to R Jeep rubicon. I called to inquire about the price and check on the car. The next day the price was reduced to exactly what I asked for. I talked to Rob on the phone a few times that afternoon. Even though they were short staffed Rob was able to answer all of my questions very professionally and was always there when I called. I was so pleased with the customer service that I paid for the car in full that same day. The car showed up in great condition on my door step in 3 days (and I live in Vermont!). Rob then overnighted my temp plates and title the next day, even though it was a weekend. I buy a lot of cars and I have to say this was the best, no bullsh*t process I have ever experienced. 3 weeks later and my jeep runs great. Next time I buy a car you can bet I'll be calling Rob first. Keep up the good work buddy. -Adam W. Bridgewater Corners, VT More
Looking for a relatively new audi, M2 auto group was the only dealership close to me that had what I wanted (low miles, black interior, gps, etc.) Before going there, I read the reviews and I was hesitant only dealership close to me that had what I wanted (low miles, black interior, gps, etc.) Before going there, I read the reviews and I was hesitant to even make the trip out there. Because there are only 12 reviews on this dealership, and only 5 people writing the reviews, I decided that I would be optimistic and make the trip out there. The sales rep was extremely busy, but still answered all of my questions. he was NOT pushy (I hate pushy sales people that won't let me breathe), he was not pressuring me into buying the vehicle right then and there. He even gave me the keys and let me go outside and look through the car for 10 minutes before he came outside. He told me where all the scratches were inside and outside the car. He printed a car fax for me right in front of me! When I decided to purchase the car, there were no hidden fees and I was able to negotiate a few dollars off the car for the scratches. The sales rep helped me look for cheaper insurance policies, suggested the extended warranty(which I purchased), and told me not to worry about the plates because he will FEDEX them to me as soon as he gets them. I received my plates in the mail 1.5 weeks after I purchased the car. Once the sale was complete, I told him that I was hesitant to even come to the dealership because of the reviews, and he replied "We sell thousands of cars, and there are only 10 reviews online...need I say more?" People love to write the negative and complain. I was not going to write about my pleasurable experience with this dealership, but I decided that I needed to share my encounter because the reviews does not do this dealership its justice. More
On July 20, 2010 I went to check out a 2005 Nissan Xterra from M2 Auto Group hoping it was as good as the ad on craigslist boasted.I spoke with Juan about making a deal after taking the test-drive and he agr from M2 Auto Group hoping it was as good as the ad on craigslist boasted.I spoke with Juan about making a deal after taking the test-drive and he agreed to take off $500 of the sticker price and I was to come back the next day with the $. I returned in the morning ready to make a deal and Juan was nowhere. After test-driving one more time I spoke with Juan over the phone and he explained there was no change in the sticker price that they were firm on it. Even though we had discussed the previous day a deal stating that if i negotiate for $500 off I waive my right to the warranty that is required by NJ Lemon Law and had to purchase an extended one. After 2 hours of attempting to make a deal I finally settled on paying the sticker price. Mike writes up the contract I sign, he signs, I ask, 'so since I am paying the FULL sticker price I am getting both an extended warranty and the 60 day dealership warranty REQUIRED by NJ Lemon Law?' and all of a sudden the "manager" Robert walks in and yells "Cancel the deal! It's going to the Auction!" I got extremely irate demanded to speak with the manager/owner, whoever's in charge as I had a SIGNED contract and Mike tells me that was him, not to bother NOT TO BUY HERE that I don't deserve this treatment. He seemed pissed also as we just spent 2 hours on this deal. Extremely upset and aggravated I left and proceeded to report them to the BBB (adding to the already many complaints). I had a friend of mine call the next day to ask about the Xterra to see if it really was "going to the auction" and sure enough it was "still available" and the price was exactly what I was going to pay. The deal breaker here: me demanding to get the required dealership warranty of 60 days 3000 miles holding them 100% liable if something went wrong (minus a $50 deductible) If it was such a "sound, strong truck" like Juan said it shouldn't have been a problem giving me a 60 day warranty!! BUYER BEWARE!! THEY'RE A BUNCH OF CROOKS! More
On June 26, 2010 I purchased a 2002 Hyundai Sante Fe from M2 Auto Group along with a 90 day warranty from your corporation. As any used car dealer would do they told me that the car was in great condition, I M2 Auto Group along with a 90 day warranty from your corporation. As any used car dealer would do they told me that the car was in great condition, I test drove it and all seemed well (from an untrained mechanics eye) it looked and drove well the car fax came up clean and overall all seemed well, I proceeded with the purchase and approximately 24 hours later the car was un-drivable. I couldn’t believe it. I got in my car and noticed it was extremely hard to turn my wheel and drove immediately to my mechanics and this is what he told me: The powering steering hose had a large leak and was pouring out fluid and could not be driven until the hose was replaced. The passenger window will not go up or down from the passenger’s side The oil was MUD The transmission fluid smelled like celery also thick as mud The brakes started screeching and would need to be replaced immediately The Air conditioning which was advertised as is perfect condition by the sale rep said all it needed was a charge of free-on which leaked out within 24 hours and needed a new hose and to be recharged again. My mechanic also informed me in the very near future the car will need other maintenance I will have him draw up an estimate on the further repairs that will be needed within the next 90 days. I contacted M2 Auto group on Sunday 6/27 numerous times and no one answered and the answering machine was so full you could not leave a message for them, I then contacted them on Monday 6/28 and left numerous messages for the manager Juan who was the only person I could speak to because the owner of M2 will not speak with anyone, I then contacted Juan back Tuesday 6/29 numerous times again with no call back to me, by Wednesday 6/30 I told my mechanic to go forward with the abundant amount of repairs needed to get my vehicle functioning. Total $614.00 is repairs within 24 hours of owning my truck :'( Since the repairs have been made I have contacted Juan at M2 Auto Group countless times with no avail, all I get is the run around for reimbursement. Luckily I did purchase a 90 day warranty with Guardian Warranty Corporation and some resolution is better than no resolution. I did report M2 Auto Group to the Attorney General's office and to the Better Business Bureau my one complaint will add to the many they already have. Also before you purchase anything from this awful business see what others have gone through I was one of the LUCKY ones! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! More
This morning after seeing an ad on another site I called M2 to ask if they had still had the vehicle.I asked specifically if there was anything wrong with the vehicle because based on my search the price wa M2 to ask if they had still had the vehicle.I asked specifically if there was anything wrong with the vehicle because based on my search the price was alot lower than fair market value.I called twice before making the trip to make sure I was going to see what the pics had shown.Well I get there and after a 10 second look around I notice there is a space between the headlight and the fender thats atleast 1 inches off.Look in the wheel well..no cover that should be there and if you touch the headlight it will fall inward.Otherwise in good condition so maybe based on the price I overlook the terrible work that was done to fix what Im sure had to be the result of an accident.I go inside and guy hands me the keys.I start it up I see an engine light.I try to turn the ac/heat on and it won't work.I try the windows/doorlocks...nope.I go inside and guy asks what I thought.I ask about what kind of accident this truck was in and I get..."well most trucks/cars that are older and used have been in accidents".All the while guy is doing other things and not even looking at me.Sure there are alot of vehicles in accidents but if repaired right it shouldnt matter so much.I tell him the truck has alot of issues and I get a response of "oh".A complete waste of time and a bit of honesty in the ad could have avoided me taking a unnecessary trip. Rude service aside, the cars they sell generally seem to have been modified poorly or had home-brew repairs done on them. I Bought a Mk 4 Volkswagen Golf from the dealership. Upon inspection, it needed a few things, but the main issue was that the check engine light had been reset to that it didn't show up during test drive. Not even 30 miles into ownership and the check engine light came on showing misfire. M2 refused to acknowledge the problem and said that it was not their fault, I should have inspected the car better. How can you inspect a car thoroughly when the test drive is one right turn and a stop sign, for a total trip of less than a mile? The car was nothing but problems, and finally ended in disaster when it broke down on the highway, never to work again. If anyone is considering buying a car from this dealership I'd recommend walking away, and for those of you that did purchase a car from this dealership, might I suggest a very small deductible because it will get very expensive very fast. The sales rep. was not even paying attention to any of my questions and every answer had a pause with a real low tone answer to which I could not make out.
