To say this was the worst buying experience of my life would be an understatement. My husband and I went to the dealership in May and knew exactly what we wanted after a test drive. We were told inventory was low due to the pandemic (which we totally understood) but we would have our car in a few weeks. We were also told that we would be kept updated on the progress of our car. We were very open minded to different colors and said we would be happy with whichever came in first. After several weeks without any updates, my husband and I started calling the dealership and got a new answer every time ("the car will be in next week", "I'll call you tomorrow", "give me the weekend", etc.). Finally, at the end of June we were told the car would be in the week of July 12. I called the Friday before to check in and I was told everything was going as planned and I would get a call on Monday. I did not get a call on Monday. We called on Tuesday and left a message and never heard back. Finally, I called on Wednesday and spoke to Lou my sales rep who said they actually never got the car which had been promised to me. He said he would call me back on Friday with an update and if I were to go with a higher model, they would not charge me any more than my original negotiated price. I once again had to call on Friday, and Lou gave three unrealistic options (one used, Outback when we wanted a Forester, and one of the higher model that did not have a firm arrival date). I was also told if I were to go with the higher model, I would have to pay more money which was the opposite of what I was originally told. We had put down a deposit on the car and when we found out we would not be getting a car from this dealership, we asked for the money back. We were told it would take 24 hours and in reality it took 5 days and at least 5 phone calls to get it back. This is not an inventory issue because I understand that cars are really hard to come by. The issue is being lied to and jerked around for 2 months. When we finally decided to go to another dealership, we were able to drive off the lot with a new Subaru Forester the next day at Ramsey where we were treated like actual human beings. More

The staff seemed very unorganized throughout the entire process. The time it took to complete the purchase process was exceptionally long and drawn out (over 8-hours waiting, most of that time waiting for process. The dealership had to transfer my trade-in from my name into theirs. The process took an inordinate amount of time and I couldn't get a straight answer from the staff. The dealership was not responsive about the time it would take to complete the process and the story kept changing about what they would need from me to transfer the vehicle and complete the trade. Also the story kept changing about the time it would take to get a check cut. Still have not received a check for my trade-in and haven't heard back from them as to when I can expect that money. Love my Subaru but would not recommend this dealership. More
Terrible service department... Brought my 2015 Forester in because remote start(which they installed) wasn't working.. 7:30 a.m. appointment only to be called at the end of the day to be told the car batte in because remote start(which they installed) wasn't working.. 7:30 a.m. appointment only to be called at the end of the day to be told the car battery was weak and they needed to keep it overnight to replace it(Overnight to replace a car battery). Picked up next day and was charged $150 for the battery and $80 to install it!!!! $230 for a $60 battery... Needless to say the battery wasn't the problem and I had to call and tell them it still would not remote start. Was told to bring it in next Tuesday(not right away which would have been good customer service) Dropped it off at 8 this morning and was promptly called at 8:20 to say that the "A" tech needed to look at it and he was backed up so the car would need to stay overnight... again... Must be nice to know at 8:20 that you won't be able to fix a car you should have fixed right the first time... Once again, good customer service would have been to push me to the front of the line... Then they called me back 5 minutes later to say I needed to come back with the second remote.. I tried to explain that the remote wasn't the problem.. the car received the signal but would not turn over... After getting totally fed up I hung up, went back and picked up the car and vowed never to return.. Wish I could give less stars!! Avoid Lynne's at all costs!!!!!!!! Jim Leishman More
Mgr knew I had low credit, ran my credit, knew my loan was denied, then took my 2K down payment, then told me I was denied and payment would be higher. The whole experience was absolutely superb and very comforting. Sales, tech and financing all departments were very polite, courteous and full of patience. It was great to work with the car specialist Jackson ! He was of great help with everything we asked for.
