I wish I had read all the reviews about this dealership before doing business with them. I totally agree that they need to be shut down- ASAP...Not only did I have to make a dozen threatening calls before before doing business with them. I totally agree that they need to be shut down- ASAP...Not only did I have to make a dozen threatening calls before I got my refund back but have not recieved the registration plates for my vehicle 3 weeks down the road. So I am driving with their expired temporary sticker- they never return your calls once you drive out of this shady dealership with the vehicle. I strongly urge people to spend an extra 5 thousand and buy their car from a reputable business rather than have to deals with these xxxxx. More
After reading other people's experience with Luxury Motors, it upsets me that I didnt research this company before doing business with them. My experience is typical. I cant believe dealerships like th Motors, it upsets me that I didnt research this company before doing business with them. My experience is typical. I cant believe dealerships like this could exist in this country. They behave like they are above the law. They will not do the right thing. But, you know what, it will catch up to them. It is only a matter of time. I think if we all write to the advertising companies and complain, maybe, they will quit posting their ads. More
STAY AWAY - BAD NEWS - CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR - SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN BY THE STATE I was interested in a Range Rover. Moe Barakat, my sales person, demanded a deposit before he would send me any additional phot DOWN BY THE STATE I was interested in a Range Rover. Moe Barakat, my sales person, demanded a deposit before he would send me any additional photos. When he sent the pictures they were very poor quality which lead me to believe he was trying to deceive me regarding the condition of the vehicle. I immediately replied to his email requesting that he refund my $1000 deposit (so far all during the same day). He never replied and did not refund my deposit. I called several times over the next week and finally spoke to Jason Larson. He apologized and said that he would take care of it. I sent him a follow-up email. He never replied and my credit card was not refunded. So far I'm three weeks in and can not get ANYONE at the dealership to refund my deposit, or much less return an email or phone call. I've disputed the transaction with American Express since Luxury Motors will not refund the card. I have dealt with several other dealerships that have similar sales volumes. They do not have ANY complaints of this nature. This is why Luxury Motors DOES NOT DO BUSINESS ON EBAY because they would not be able to survive the feedback rating system. Don't believe the PLANTED positive feedback. These guys should be put out of business. More
Abe is a good sales guy - very honest and professional. Abe is a good sales guy - very honest and professional. Unfortunately that is where the good and professionalism stop. Chad Madani is a crook and do Abe is a good sales guy - very honest and professional. Unfortunately that is where the good and professionalism stop. Chad Madani is a crook and does not respond to emails, voicemails, etc. Ricky, the GM is a slimy crook and will sell his own mother for a buck. The customer service after purchase is the worse that I have ever experienced in 25 years of buying autos. Read all of the comments about failing to properly title a vehicle within the legal time allowed - they are all true. Read all of the negative comments on this posting as well as other postings. Read all of the complaints with the Chicago Better Business Burea before you buy a vehicle from these crooks. It appears that only going through the BBB is the way to get issues resolved. More
In Short, very shady dealings. They promised to cure several problems with the car, I had repeated confirmations that these items had been fixed from more than one individual. When the car arrived none several problems with the car, I had repeated confirmations that these items had been fixed from more than one individual. When the car arrived none had been taken care of. Also, arrange your own shipping. I had them do it with written confirmtion that this would be a pass through cost i.e. no mark up. I ended up speaking with the shiping company when there was a delay and thought to ask how much he charged LM. LM had billed my credit card $1500 when the cost of shipment was $900. Still haven't had this resolved. Also, see the following link prior to dealing with them. I wish I had prior to purchasing. http://chicagobusiness.com/cgi-bin/news.pl?id=15636 More
