He wouldn't make copy of license but rather hold on to original license when you go for test drive. He threw the car keys on my face cause I wanted to seat in the front and get a better experience of the car as I am the one buying the car. He refused to sit in the back during the test drive saying he is the owner and wasn’t from “that level” (yes your level decreases if you sit in the back seat according to him) Beware of this seller please. I have never experienced something like this ever before. More
Typical Used Car Place Overall, I was thrilled with my purchase. The buying experience was great. The salesperson was new (first day) and Moe seemed like a great guy. We cha Overall, I was thrilled with my purchase. The buying experience was great. The salesperson was new (first day) and Moe seemed like a great guy. We chatted and talked while taking care of the financing and I was feeling really good about the purchase and didn't make a big fuss about the noise figuring they would take care of it. I never post a review immediately. I wait to see how the dealership follows through before i go posing. Well, I'm glad I waited. I traded in my 530xi with LOW miles on an 08 X5 with higher mileage and extended warranty but in what seemed like great condition. I would have stayed with my 530 but we have a two full sized dogs and I needed something to cart them around in. I was up front with my trade stating that it needed an oil change, had new front brakes, new tires and some other little tidbits of things done to it and one of the bumpers were repainted. I expected the same in return. Im not unrealistic or unreasonable. I know with a used car its as-is, where-is. I have a higher DTI but excellent payment history and they really worked with me with financing and getting an extended warranty that actually covers repairs to 200,000 miles. Great! On the initial test drive, I told the salesperson about a noise in the steering coming from the front left, and the rotors being warped. Nothing too big. I also noted that when I started it in the garage there was a warning on the I-drive about the battery discharging when off. The message hasn't come up since. Chock it up to german gremlins. I assumed and figured that since the rear pads were low the rotors would need replacement. I have no problem replacing pads and rotors that was not my issue. When I got into the truck after sitting that night the battery was dead. Jumped it with my other car and all was well. The belts were squealing, okay not another big huge issue. That evening I emailed Moe and told him about the issues. I got an email back saying that he would replace the battery and go from there. Well me being me, I brought the truck to my BMW dealer for an oil-change and they stated that the noise was the sway bar end links, belts needed replacing and the battery was fine...just replace the belts. I emailed Moe. Never got a response. I was busy, working 60-70 hrs a week and figured I'd get it taken care of soon. Spoke with my old finance company because they were calling incessantly about my late payment. I was shocked...I DONT MAKE LATE PAYMENTS! Sent a followup email, no response. Re-sent the same email again. No response. Called and left a message. No response. Great. Another call to my old finance company and found out its been about a month and a half and my old car is still not paid off. I sent another email regarding the MINOR repairs of the belts and the suspension and paying my car off and once again NO RESPONSE. Oh BTW this week cracked radiator and bad expansion tank. Yippee. I am just not happy with this level of service. If I was a complete jerk, I could understand but this is ridiculous. Now I'm going to have to take time off of work to get this crap taken care of. Overall, I am happy with the truck and am sure that I'm going to have to pay out of pocket for the repairs. I would normally do all of the repairs myself but its frigid and cold and my garage is being rebuilt right now so I'm stuck. I know...Im fired up about them not paying the car off, and the maybe $300 in parts and labor are adding insult to injury and this radiator thing was the last straw. You are probably wondering why I just didn't go to another dealership....This was the right vehicle with the right options and the price was right. Unfortunately, I should have just waited until my dealership got the right vehicle in. Once again, I know its a used car...if this would have panned out differently, I would have been singing them praises from the highest mountain top and funneling the business straight to them. More

I was assured the any problems I might find with the car they would repair under the warranty. First the car had more miles than advertised. The car had an oil leak, low coolant light, air suspension fault light and after taking it to my local dealer I found out the car could not communicate with the OBD2 scanner. The repairs estimate around $3000.00 ot $4000.00 dollars... I was assured they would fix the problems. Here it is October and nothing has been done and they refuse to honor the warranty or do any repairs. They are the worst of the worst. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN ONCE THE CAR LEAVE THE PLACE This dealer is so bad I expect to file a law suit and win More
Buyer Beware HORRIBLE Purchase Experience I purchased a Range Rover from Gus and Moe on May 24, 2014. It's now August 6, 2014 and they have yet to provide me a title for the vehicle so I can register it. Twice I have had to park it because the temporary drive away tags they keep faxing me after numerous requests expire. They have failed on every occasion to fulfill even the slightest commitment they have made to me related to this issue. Gus is just the guy primarily getting stuck taking the blame for what appears to be Moe's approval to allow LMI to sell me a vehicle they had no legal ownership of. I'm repeatedly told that "it's in the mail" "we're sending it to you" "we're taking care of it" "didn't Moe call you yet" "I have to check with Moe" "I'll get back to you as soon as I talk to Moe". Oddly enough, prior to me actually buying the vehicle, Gus was calling me like clockwork, apparently they have lost my number about 3 dozen separate times since then. Never in my life of buying anything much less a vehicle have I dealt with a level of incompetence and dishonesty as I have with LMI. At this point I'm left with only the legal system as a means to gain receipt of a valid title for the vehicle sitting in my driveway over two months after it was purchased. There are a ton of honest reputable dealers in the Chicago area to choose to do business with. I would highly recommend that you stay as far away from LMI as possible. Obviously my failure to pay attention to the critical reviews of Gus and Moe that I saw are coming back to bite me. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID..... Feel free to contact me via email if you question the validity of this message or my experience. I'm sure by the time I hear from you there will even more to share.... More
Buyer BE AWARE - My son was trying to buy his first car from Luxurty Motors Imports. I was to be the co-signer. All we got was a huge run around and unfulfilled promises. End result, over eight days of from Luxurty Motors Imports. I was to be the co-signer. All we got was a huge run around and unfulfilled promises. End result, over eight days of the "sales" cycle and no car. We had to keep calling them, they never called us back.
