Your Customer Lounge is both clean and comfortable. Your communication with the customer is very good. The reason I put off changing the spark plugs was the time I had already spent waiting. That is why I dropped your customer service rating to OK and dropped Overall Satisfaction to Good. More

I was told my oil change and possible tire rotation would take about an hour. I waited in the waiting area for an hour and no one came to get me, so I went back to the desk and noticed my car was not in the take about an hour. They decided to not rotate the tires, so I would be surprised if it really took an hour for an oil change. I'm not sure why they didn't come and tell me my car was ready when it was ready. In addition, when I brought the car in, I asked them to check the air in the spare tire. When I paid my bill, I asked if they had checked the air in the spare and the service representative said, "No, they forgot and I even put something on the order." I waited for him to say something like, "I'm sorry. We'll get that checked right now", but he didn't. He just handed me my keys and that was it. This doesn't seem like great customer service. More
I was given a quote of time and cost over the phone and it seemed very reasonable. The cost of the service came in less that quoted and the actual time was 30 min less then quoted. The only negative I would say is that Leah was chomping on gum while talking to me at check in which looked very unprofessional; but she was very nice and friendly and dressed professionally.I would never consider going anywhere but the Mankato Luther Honda for my service. I have been going there ever since I moved to Mankato area many years ago. The place is spotlessly clean and Ben Z in sales is the best ever. More

We are Luther Advantage/VIP customers. We purchased our Hyundai Sonata from Luther Hyundai in Bloomington. We receive complimentary oil changes due to our VIP status. We could not make the trip to the metro for an oil change, but wanted to keep it in the “Luther Family.” And I do not trust those “Quick Lube” places. So we went to Luther Mankato Honda. When making an appointment, I was told that the cost would be $31. Believing this was a fair price I scheduled an appointment. Upon arrival, I felt unwelcome by our service advisor, almost like we were bothering her. We were told it would take about 45 minutes and we were directed to the lounge. Our 4 year old son was entertained by watching Mom’s car go up and down on the hydraulic lift; we had a good view from the lounge. From the time the car went up on the lift, to being driven out of the service garage was 25 minutes. Then it was driven to the parking lot. I know this because I had an intrigued 4 year old watching the whole time giving me a play-by-play on what they were doing. Another 20 minutes go by, I hear nothing. So I walk to the service desk, Leah looks up and says that she was just about to come get us because the paperwork was just finalized. Again, I feel like I am bothering her. The bill was $39 dollars and some odd cents, far from our telephone quote of $31. Upon looking close at the invoice it said customer agrees to $40 quote on the phone, which I never did. The invoice also showed that we were charged 50 cents to top off the washer fluid. 50 cents does not break the bank, but c’mon! The worst part, the next morning I go outside and they are oil spots under our Sonata on our new concrete driveway. It appears that the oil residue near the oil filter was never cleaned of used oil. Careless at best. Maybe my scores are unfair of the dealership as a whole; maybe Luther Mankato Honda does a wonderful job on the sales end. But I am very displeased with the service department and will not be back. More
I brought my recently purchased '07 Pilot in for scheduled servicing. They offered a shuttle to where I wanted to go while they performed the service. Since we are from out of town and I had two chi scheduled servicing. They offered a shuttle to where I wanted to go while they performed the service. Since we are from out of town and I had two children with me, I really appreciated the service. They were thorough and kept me informed when a question arose. When they were finished (sooner than estimated) they called me and then sent a shuttle to pick us up again. There were no unhappy surprises on the invoice as I have had happen at other places. All in all a great experience! More
