Oil change We took our new Odyssey in for its first service . Not only did we get oil and filter changed, but tires rotated and a host of other checks. Five Visits to Fix a Chattering Noise Purchased our Honda CR-V in May. Noticed a chattering noise coming from behind the driver which was very noticable. Spent five of my summer Saturday Purchased our Honda CR-V in May. Noticed a chattering noise coming from behind the driver which was very noticable. Spent five of my summer Saturdays at the Honda repair center. Since I was from out of town it took away my entire morning. On my first visit I was shown a video of a common vibration that the Honda CR-V has that comes from the engine. They changed out the differential which did not elimante the chattering. On my 2nd visit they said it was the vibration like I saw on the video that was making the chattering and I would have to wait for a recall from Honda. I waited a month and the chattering was driving me crazy I purchased a brand new car and I did not feel I needed to put up with that noise. I went back for the 3rd time for an oil change and to ask them to check into the noise again. They heard the noise but they did not have enough staff on to look into it. The 4th appointment they diagnosed the problem ( Back seat brackets that lock the seat in were defective) and had to order the parts. The 5th appt. they installed new brackets. The noise has finally stopped. Luther Mankato Honda has a very nice custumer waiting room. I wish I had only visited once! I purchased a new car but it feels like I purchased a used car. More
