I sold cars in my past and worked for a dealership that was high pressure and don't let the potential customer off the lot until you sold them a vehicle. There was no pressure to buy and given all the answers to our questions. The vehicle we were going to purchase was sold while we were filling out the credit app and the sales manager offered to sell us his vehicle which had more options and had only been on at the dealership for less than 2 week with lower miles. Financing was smooth and simple with no high pressure to add additional products. A good buying experience. More
Readers Beware I am writing to inform you that I am very upset with the service I received at the Luther Bloomington Kia. I originally went in to have my brakes serv I am writing to inform you that I am very upset with the service I received at the Luther Bloomington Kia. I originally went in to have my brakes serviced because of a recall letter I had received in the mail. I show up for my scheduled appointment. No warm welcoming, I waited a few moments while the service associate finished her personal phone call. *Multiple red flags* Recieved a disingenuous apology. At that moment I should have left and took my business elsewhere. I informed the maintenance associate that I knew my front left brake needed to be replaced. Was then informed that they would need to do a brake inspection which would cost ~$73. * Another red flag* Decided to make the regretful decision to go along with the brake inspection and wanted a list of all other recommended maintenance service. Spent an hour in the waiting area witnessing numerous unprofessional encounters. By now I already made up my mind that I wasn't going to be giving Luther Bloomington Kia anymore of my business. By no surprise I received the news that the cost to repair a set of brakes was going to cost $475. With a grand total to repair everything at ~$1,700. I did receive a complimentary car wash which I'm thankful for. I went and paid the $73 tab for a brake inspection. Afterwards asked where I could find my car, and was directed that it was just through the door behind me. Expecting it to be parked right outside the door. I wasn't surprised to find it parked about a block away. My seat wasn't put back in the position it was in, and my mirrors were all messed up. With the unbelievable amount of red flags I witnessed I've decided to go with this guy my dad highly recommends. Truth be told I won't be recommending Luther Bloomington Kia. More
Worst treatment I have ever experienced My car was in for service for engine replacement, my extended warranty spend 3 weeks assessing problem and finally coming up $871 dollars short, I had My car was in for service for engine replacement, my extended warranty spend 3 weeks assessing problem and finally coming up $871 dollars short, I had questions and concerns that were completely disregarded by Burgandy the representative. It took a month to complete and the rudeness and disregard for my requests left me with a feeling of absolute disregard and was forced into the only option offered. And after a request for my experience was given and it was similar to this, it was also completely disregarded so I wonder why did you ask when it is clear concern for your customer does not exist, or at least this particular service rep is not representing your company very well. More
Poor workmanship My wife & I stopped going there for our service needs.. EVERY time we had the oil changed it was over filled... But the final straw came with tires bought & mounted there. Took 3 times bringing the car back in before 3 of them would seal & hold air. The 4th never did seal... It got to the point where every 3 days it would need air. We took the car to another shop to have them look at it at this point. HUGE hole in the bead area where the tech screwed up & tore it. This tire should have never been put on the car! During all of this the cars wheels were ruined cuz of all the trying to seal them. Left feeling like it's a take advantage of a female shop........... We filed a complaint with them & never got any kind of response... So at this point we have simply moved to a new shop.... More

Disappointed Went in for a 30k oil change and inspection service. They were kind enough to take me in even after I was late for my appointment I give them that, ho Went in for a 30k oil change and inspection service. They were kind enough to take me in even after I was late for my appointment I give them that, however after explaining three concerns I had with my Forte S one of them I showed the service advisor a quick video of. when the service was complete and went to pick up my vehicle, all that was explained to me was “Everything was working as it should”.🤔 it’s clear that isn’t the case, I can’t help but think either no one took the time seeing how my Oil Change reminder wasn’t reset along with my tire pressure wasn’t even checked, or they had someone that wasn’t qualified to diagnose the issue’s. Horrible first impression and unfortunately for them I will not be back. More
Amazing Service from Friendly People I will never get my car serviced anywhere else besides here. Luther Kia was absolutely amazing at taking care of my car and looping me in on the proce I will never get my car serviced anywhere else besides here. Luther Kia was absolutely amazing at taking care of my car and looping me in on the process. They listened to my concerns and were able to immediately identify the source of my problem after a different dealership told me there was nothing wrong with my car. Thank you for actually taking the time to listen to me and fixing my car the right way! More
Service quality was terrible. Air conditioning on my 2011 Sportage stopped working so I made an appointment and brought it in. Two hours later I get a call saying they ran a "complete diagnostic" and all that was needed was new Freon. The next morning, and $200 later, I picked it up and after twenty minutes, the air conditioner is blowing hot air again. Unfortunately I'm almost home by then so I have to make another appointment another day. Second visit, they have it for two days and run an "even more comprehensive diagnostic" and find $400 worth of problems. So I take off work in the middle of the day, pick up my newly fixed truck and heard back to work for a meeting. Not even ten minutes away from the dealership, the air conditioner is blowing hot air. I called them immediately and asked how they'd decided that my air conditioner was fixed when it didn't even last ten minutes. "I'm not exactly sure how they came to that conclusion" was the best answer I received. So now, after many days and over $600, I'm exactly where I was two weeks ago. And the best part is, I get to bring my truck in AGAIN! I sure love when businesses talk about quality service and really have no idea how to implement it. More

Purchased Kia soul in 2013 that now has 58,000 miles and is mysteriously burning 1 quart oil every 3000 mi. Brought it in to Bloomington location and the service tech told me it might not be covered by warranty because I have had the oil changed outside the dealership and because it may take another 3000 mi to prove it's burning oil, which would exceed the 60,000 warranty. He wanted to charge me $160 to "diagnose the issue." I bolted and went to Inver Grove location, where the technician thoroughly described the diagnosis process, put my mind at ease regarding the warranty (since this repair would likely be covered under the 100,000 mi powertrain warranty) and charged me NOTHING! This is just the latest example in a pattern of poor interactions with service reps at Bloomington location when I went there to handle a recalls and flat tire. Service reps overcharge, are poorly informed, and are terrible communicators. STEER CLEAR OF KIA BLOOMINGTON AND GO TO IGH INTSTEAD! More
