Went for 1st oil change on new Civic Coupe...made appointment online in 2 seconds. Nice how you drive inside, then get out and take a few steps into the nice waiting area. Watched SportsCenter for about 20 minutes, surfed with my phone using the Wi-Fi and had some coffee. Maintenance was done in about 30 min. total and I was on my way after 2 signatures. $37 for oil change might be a couple of bucks more than Jiffy Lube, but it was a pleasure not having some greasy high school kid coming up to me saying how badly my tranny fluid needed changing. These guys are pros and offer a great place to wait. All of my work in the future will be at Luther. More
I have worked with Jace before as my service rep, and as usual, he is always very courteous and professional. Although I was in for an oil change and mileage/age checkup, Jace came back to explain some of the additional areas that needed work or replacement and gave me the option of doing it the same night or rescheduling if I wanted the repairs done. Once I had decided to get it all done while I was there, I was happy that it was completed a half hour sooner than the estimated time...and even though it was a somewhat sloppy winter driving day and very cold they did wash and wipe down my car. The maintenance cost for owning a Honda seems expensive and since I had more work done than anticipated it cost more, but I knew I would need that done soon anyway. This is my 4th Honda and my 2nd CRV so I am a lifer! I even sold my first CRV to my nephew so that his family has a safe car to ride in and can load two young children and all the equipment they need. Everyone in the sales and service and auto body areas have all been stellar! More
I don't recall the service rep's name, but he was excellent. I find that every time I deal with Hopkins Honda I have a very good experience. I brought my Honda Accord in for a power steering recall. i was originally told that you would check it over to see if replacement of the hose was required. When I arrived at 8:30 Monday morning, I was tol i was originally told that you would check it over to see if replacement of the hose was required. When I arrived at 8:30 Monday morning, I was told that on Saturday, Honda decided to do the replacement on all eligible units but that you would not have the necessary part until Tuesday. An e-mail over the weekend would have saved me a trip. I brought the car in for the work on Tuesday PM for the work which was completed but it was recommended that I have a part replaced that was not covered by the recall. I agreed but later was told that the necessary part was not in stock and that I would once again have to return and have the work done. Finally the work was completed. Your Service people were helpful and professional throughout. Clearly, they are not supported in their work with an equally effective support system which might have saved me one, if not two, extra trips. Regards T M Soller More

A great place that allows you to keep on with work if you need to wait for a long time, as well as a friendly kids place to entertain your kids if they're with you. More
Service is always easy to schedule, they do a good job and do not overcharge. Service waiting area is excellent with business work space and wi-fi. The paperwork part (setting up the appointment, getting checked in and out) was easy. Everyone was polite and professional. And as others have mentioned, the lounge area is very nice and the cookies (especially the frosted ones) are quite good. But I was told that the work would take about an hour, so I waited, taking time off from work, and even though no extra work was performed, it took closer to two hours to finish. I would have planned differently if I had known about that. Also, compared to my local independent mechanic, it's quite pricey for the same work. So unless there is something I think can only be solved by the dealer, I don't think the cookies are worth the extra money. More
I called to schedule what I thought was a routine appointment. The codes that came up on my car, I was told, were for an oil change and tire rotation and this should take 2 hours. When I arrived, I was told that I also needed a valve adjustment to the tune of $400.00 and it would take 4 hours. I was given a "rental car" to use for the day. That saved me $15.00. I think I should have been advised what the codes were for when I scheduled my appointment, and given the correct amount of time that it would take for the service. When questioned about the need for this service, the answers were vague. Did the service code come up because the car required it, or because I hit a certain number of miles on the car, combined with the age of the car? This makes me believe that there a whole lot of unneccessary work being done on Hondas. I did notice that all of the cars in for service that day were newer Hondas. They are good cars. Why all the need for service? BIG MONEY!!! More
Hopkins Honda is always so nice. The waiting area is clean. They have paper to read and beverages and goodies are available.
