Went to the dealership to look at used 2012 Odyssey minivans. Found one we liked and bought it. On the way home the coin holder fell open and would not close. This was broke during the "detailin minivans. Found one we liked and bought it. On the way home the coin holder fell open and would not close. This was broke during the "detailing" process between test driving the van and taking the van home after purchasing. The following day my wife went to use the windshield fluid and nothing. It was froze (it was about 20 degrees out that day). This used van came from Texas. The wiper fluid in Texas is not made for cold weather. Last issue is we went to program the navigation and it was calling for a user PIN for some functions. We were told we would have to bring it in to have it reset. So onto the scheduled service appointment to fix these. Windshield fluid drained an filled. Navigation reset, which erased all 60 cd's we had put on the HDD and all the phone contacts and settings we had programmed. Coin holder not fixed, they had to order that part. They want us to come back and sit for another hour to fix the coin holder. No screws hold it in, probably a 3 minute job to fix. Since this is a "certified" used car, one would think that if a car came from Texas to be sold in Minnesota and it is winter, change the wiper fluid to start with. Don't just top it off. That is just straight being lazy. Makes me wonder if the coolant is going to be okay to a very low temp? Same can be said for the Navigation. When selling a used Honda with Navigation, why not just resest it? Instead, we had to drive 30 minutes to the dealership, sit for an hour (missing work) to reset the navigation. Should be done when they do the "certified" inspection. Just lazy in my opinion. Sales and finance were great and very friendly. They have been freindly to help our problems, but these problems should not happen. The reason the problems exist is from lack of proper execution and just being lazy. More
The service consultant was very friendly and was able to get all of my questions answered before, during, and after repairs were completed. However, there was a slight glitch In customer service. When I w get all of my questions answered before, during, and after repairs were completed. However, there was a slight glitch In customer service. When I went to pay for the repairs, I handed over an oil change coupon from RB Honda that the service consultant had agreed could be used. I expected the discount to have already been taken, since the service consultant had asked for the discounted price over the phone, but it was not. Then when I handed over the coupon I was told by customer service that it had to be turned in before the vehicle was serviced. I had to explain that the service consultant had already agreed to honor the coupon, at which point they re-calculated payment due. One other comment is that it would have been helpful if Hopkins Honda had called RB Honda to obtain repair history information. I had to make this call, and get back to the service consultant, who then relayed the required information to the repair technician. More

I would recommend this dealership for many reasons. They always get us in for service fast. The representative's are always friendly and helpful. In my experience they have always finished the repairs in always get us in for service fast. The representative's are always friendly and helpful. In my experience they have always finished the repairs in less time than they estimated. The waiting area is comfortable and they stock it with treats and beverages. They have always completed the repairs correctly the first time so we didn't need to make return trips. Even though having service done at a dealership is usually more expensive, Hopkins Honda makes it worth it. More

From the time you drive into the large bay, big enough to handle a few dozen cars, you get the feeling of cleanliness and professionalism. The greeting is prompt and friendly leaving you with an all-around sense of confidence. You are told exactly what they intend to do and are given a time of completion that is very accurate. The wait is very pleasant with all your needs, and then some, available to everyone. When it’s time to leave you know where it is and that it has been washed and handled properly. I go out of my way, and have for the last 6 ½ years, to have all my service done at Hopkins Honda. -Brad More
I was told that my 209 Honda Civic needed the transmission fluid changed. Then I was told there was no record of it ever being changed in your system. I have taken my car to this dealership for transmission fluid changed. Then I was told there was no record of it ever being changed in your system. I have taken my car to this dealership for every oil change when the maintenance minder signals an oil change is needed. A service tech has never asked if I wanted to get the transmission fluid changed. The car has nearly 65,000 miles on it, so I should have been asked at least 2 times in the past, at 30,000 and 60,000 miles. Right? I was a little upset that this did not happen. I definitely would have had it changed if I had been asked, as this is critical to maintaining the transmissions life. A bit disappointed, Greg Konkel 612-718-1561 More
