Customer Service from the service dept. On Monday evening my husband went over to the Burnsville Volkswagen dealership to have my oil changed. He did not have a reservation but, they helped On Monday evening my husband went over to the Burnsville Volkswagen dealership to have my oil changed. He did not have a reservation but, they helped him out, even though it was a bit later in the evening and he just drove in. That alone was great but, the best happened the next day. There was a light showing on the information board, I thought it was the oil light. It just soo happened that I got a call from the woman from the dealership asking me how my service was the previous night. I told her it was great but, there was this light. Well, 10 minutes later I got a call from Jason, in service, asking me about the light. He was very calm and explained that he did not want me to drive the car any further and he ACTUALLY drove over to the Home Depot I was at and checked the engine. I could not believe it. He said he would call when he arrived and that I could go in and do the necessary shopping and he would call. He came checked the oil, it was fine, explained what the light was told me why it was on and what to do if it came on again. I was soooo thankful to him but, even more, I was overwhelmed at his professionalism, his genuine concern and his willingness to help me. He called me by name right from the start and never once made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Believe me when I say I will be telling this story to many people and hoping that they choose you not only for service but, purchases and information. Thanks again to Jason. More

Many members of our family also own a variety of Volkswagen vehicles mostly the Volkswagen Beetle.. We have always been satisfied with the Maintenance supplied by Volkswagen, along with their friendly attitude during our visits.. Yesterday was a disaster for us..We dropped off our vehicle at 7am,, early because of the amount of work being done..I advised we needed the vehicle the following day , everything went fine, I was given a loaner vehicle and sent on my way...I didn't hear from Glenn in the service and it was about 4:30 going on 5 pm. so I called ..He advised he was just gong to call me that he was finishing up on the paperwork and I could come and get my car....Now things started going bad. I went out and was unable to start the loaner because of a dead battery. I called Glenn and got the evening phone operator..She advised me Glenn had left for the day but she would have someone in service call me..I waited a reasonable time and called back and once again talked to night operator, who told me she gave someone my phone number for him to call me...She said she was sorry for the delays that she would walk over there find out the problem and call me back...A short time later I received a call from someone at the dealership, a lady who also said she was sorry for all the problems..She told me about door lock cap on the drivers side which would allow me to access the vehicle...The battery was completely dead so I again called the dealership. I was given a phone number to roadside assistance which I called and was told they could get someone to my home to start the vehicle by 7:20 pm...At 8pm I called Roadside assistance again and the stated they were sorry for the delay. Two more calls were made because of no show.. I was becoming alarmed because it was 8:35 pm and the dealership closed at 9 and i needed my vehicle in the morning and wouldn't have time to do all of this again tomorrow morning...At 8:40 pm Roadside showed up and was extremely rude to my wife about why we didn't answer our phone.. I told him I was bit busy calling checking on his whereabouts . He started the car, I called the dealership and told them I would be late. The young man working in service was so gracious , he told me not to worry, not to hurry that he would stay open for me and take care of me when I got there, he is definitely the best thing that happened, ending a very bad day.. The ladies handling the phones also tried very hard solve the problem...I have no idea who was working in service earlier that failed to return the calls . I can't even begin to think what a mess this would have been had I ventured out to the grocery store like we had planned and got stranded with a car full of groceries... I'll end this by simply stating we are extremely disappointed...I have never even entertained the idea of changing where I have our vehicles but I am seriously giving it some thought..
