I would like to share my experience at Brookdale Honda. In Dec. '09 I stopped at Brookdale Honda to see what they might have for 2009 models and to check out the 2010 models. Mike O. was the salesman who help me and he was very knowledgeable about the Honda line and I test drove an Accord. In addition to being knowledgeable I appreciated that there was no pressure to buy a vehicle. A week later I did purchase a 2010 Accord with Mike. In May 2010 I was back at Brookdale Honda with a dent at the base of the rear panel on the passenger side of my 2010 Accord and again I received supurb service. The general manager Jim H. at Brookdale Honda personally took care of my car. Jim lined up an Accord for me to use while the dent was removed and he made sure the car was perfect when I picked it up. Not only was the dent gone but my Accord was spotless. Thanks Jim for the great customer service that exceeded my expectations. My 2010 Honda is the 2nd Honda I've ownded and I purchased them both at Brookdale Honda. I recommended them to my parents and they leased an Accord at Brookdale Honda that they purchased at the end of their lease. It is the professionalism and customer service at Brookdale Honda that makes me a repeat customer! More
In January 2010, I bought a used 2004 Ford Explorer from Luther Brookdale Honda in Brooklyn Park, MN. The sales person, Lowell Suby, was great. The Ford I bought was (and still is) in mint condition, just beautiful, runs great, etc… After having the vehicle for a few weeks it started having some engine problems. Due to the engine problem being intermittent, I had to take the truck in a few times. When I dropped my truck off for service, I received a free-of-charge brand new loaner car. When I picked my truck up it was washed and running great. Jim Haertzen, the General Manager, called me personally to check-in on the issue I was having with my recently purchased truck. He worked with me directly to ensure the vehicle problems were resolved quickly. He personally made sure I was happy and that I had everything I needed during the time my truck was in for repairs. Jim went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend the Luther Brookdale Honda dealership to any and all persons looking to buy a vehicle from an excellent customer service oriented and high quality standard dealership. More
Luther Auto is like the Mafia. They are liars, rude and truly unprofessional. They are the Toyota management of Luther. Jim is the typical sales manager who lies and make promises that are not true. WOULD you be if you had a car that does not work and they refuse to look at it or fix it because of the as is warranty, but stated that they would be fair to me if something happen. Beware of this dealership as the most disgustingly dishonest group in town. The salesperson emailed me a quote good for 30 days. Not only did they low-ball the trade, they went so far as to run the credit check (which is great BTW) before they came out with a long face saying, "Oops, we didn't really mean to extend an offer that low." The real price once they get you in the door will be thousands higher. Did you hear that?? They will bait and switch. This dealer has MANY other bad reviews. Don't waste your time and money. More

From the start, our experience was nothing less than spectacular. We are extremely savvy buyers and were 100% satisfied with the purchase of our new Civic and Pilot. From the first visit, to driving off the lot with our new vehicles, we were dealt with a high degree of professionalism. As mentioned, we are savvy buyers and we had done all of our research on the vehicles prior to our first visit. We were aware of the dealer incentives, the lease and purchase specials on specific vehicles, the manufacturer to dealer cash incentives, and the overall value of the vehicles. Amanda and Nick answered all of our questions clearly and created a sense of cooperation during the deal. Even when we dived deeper into the negotiation of the trade-in values on our old cars and purchase values of the new vehicles, we were met with cooperation and kindness. They both valued our time and chose wisely not to waste it. They were open with the numbers and did everything to meet our expectations on price and service. We had a very bad experience with Brookdale Honda. We went back to give them a "chance to earn the business' that they requested when we test drove there. We were told our research was wrong, the other offer we had from another dealer was bogus, and that we were stupid to think such a deal could exist. I was told I must not like my wife, as I wouldn't get her 4 wheel drive to keep her safer. (Never mind he sold a 2wd to a friend of hers a month before by telling her she didn't need 4wd to be safe). It was only because he had 4wd and not 2wd in stock. When he tried to move us to a lower model that didn't have a power seat, my wife declined, as she is very short, and he told her that "maybe she didn't deserve a power seat, if she wasn't willing to pay (his price) for it." He never came close on price, and his attitude was supremely disgusting and rude. Pretty much everything he told us proved to be false, particularly about our research and the other dealer's quote (we bought at that price without issue). It is very obvious that Brookdale Honda only wants to deal with folks they can manipulate and overcharge. If you go in with any knowledge, they will spend all their energy trying to prove you wrong and stupid. Stay away from Brookdale Honda, and probably from any of the other Luther dealerships. If they condone this kind of behavior, they surely don't deserve the business of anyone. More
I had a worst experience with this dealership, particularly their internet dealer. They blocked a car for me when I liked and decided to buy a car. And I made financing ready by myself. I thought everything was ready to complete the sale. But the dealer whom I dealt with never returned my calls. I even spoke to his manager he said he would ask the dealer to give a call and update me with the info, which he never did. I eventually backed out from the deal. Their customer service is awful. They all say they were busy to return your calls and give response to your queries. I suggest to avoid this dealership. More
