They work with me to provide timely and correct routine maintenance and repair service for my 2008 Dodge Avenger. That being the status quo of excellent service and accommodations at Luther Brookdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge over that time. This review is about bringing a vehicle in for service and waiting for it on a weekday morning, my preference (regardless of anticipated duration) and also a work day for me. I am fortunate, like many others, that I can work away from the office at times, thus my weekday preference vs. late day or weekend appointments. A major time saver. From the time of arrival when you get to experience (in Winter) the guilty pleasure of driving a dirty snow and salt covered vehicle over the clean tiled flooring of the heated Service Center enclave to the time your professional Service Center attendant personally locates you to let you know your keys are in the car ready to go, I don't miss a beat at work. In their Business Center I am able to attend conference calls and leverage their free WiFi, WiFi that is not weak or intermittent. During service I may be tapped on the shoulder while immersed in work to be informed of progress or other pertinent information about my vehicle, after which I think to myself, I could be at work wondering when to have my vehicle serviced, or I could be working while having my vehicle serviced. Good choice. In my mind, first and foremost, what should bring a customer back is the quality of vehicle service one receives. I've been coming back for 10 years, enough said. Secondly, personnel that are knowledgeable in vehicle service and genuine with their customer service approach in their job. I get that here. In short, Luther Brookdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge does their job exceptionally, while I'm trying to do the same at my job. You can delete the following, but just a shout out to the gentleman who I for some reason recognize to always be there over the years to open and close the doors to the Service Center enclave, place the paper "dirty feet" mats on the vehicle floors, drive the vehicles out and into the enclave, and always seeming to be in touch with the needs of customers coming and going. Made an appointment from home last night on my computer for 7 am next morning (11/7/2013). Had a disturbing humming sound in my car from unknown source and it made me nervous because I will be driving out for 7 am next morning (11/7/2013). Had a disturbing humming sound in my car from unknown source and it made me nervous because I will be driving out of state in 2 weeks. I wanted a service person to identify the problem. Arrived at 7 a.m. The front wheel bearings were at fault. Back wheel bearings are fine. The front ones were replaced, and I was home by 9:30 a.m. Problem solved! And it was covered, so no charge. And my vehicle was washed! Everything was excellent. More
90 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation by appointment is pretty ridiculous. That said, they did a good job. Almost everyone knows that a dealership is an expensive place to get an oil change but because I leased my vehicle from Luther I thought it would be good to have it maintained there. NOT. Add a tire rotation and the bill was over $70. Never again. More
We had a 7:15 appt. We called at 10 & got no response. Called back at noon & finally received a call at 12:15. I was told that they started our job but pulled the tech off to do other work, I as response. Called back at noon & finally received a call at 12:15. I was told that they started our job but pulled the tech off to do other work, I asked but was not told what this other work was. Both my daughter & I had rearranged our AM schedules to deal with this issue with the van. I feel that we should have received a courtesy call informing us that you would not be able to keep our 7:15 apt as promised, then we would not have wasted 1/2 day waiting for nothing. I will never go to any Luther dealership for sales or service again. More
