Disappointed I recently dropped my Jeep off to have a recall and an oil change done on it. My appointment was for 8:15 am; I dropped it off at 8, told them I neede I recently dropped my Jeep off to have a recall and an oil change done on it. My appointment was for 8:15 am; I dropped it off at 8, told them I needed it by 5, came in to pick it up at 5:15 and was informed that they hadn't even started it yet. I was very upset because I had taken the day off work to have this done and had to take my Jeep back untouched. The guy at the service desk said "if this wasn't the 20th time this has happened this week, I might have a better answer for you." I called the service manager the next morning and he agreed to have it picked up at my place of work, which they did. They also charged me full price for the oil change and brought it back with the gas tank on empty. I am just disappointed that they did not even replace the extra gas I had to use or discount the oil change. More

I had the tranny replaced awhile back and now it clicks when trying to start it which it didn't do before the tranny replacement, I brought it up to them right away and they told me it could be an optional ground wire addition from the starter to the tranny and it would cost me $190 dollars for them to do. Also I had the power steering pump replaced and they routed my belt wrong so my alternator was squealing. I brought it to luther Kia where I bought it and they found that out. I called Mike the service manager and told him what Kia told me and he immediately did not believe me and thought I was lying. He said he was going to talk to Kia and call me back with a decision if he was going to pay them for the fix. I got a call from Kia saying my vehicle was done and Mike was going to cover it but he still has never called me to apologize or admit the mistake. I think there are major issues at luther all together and they advertise that they sell the most reliable used vehicles I. The state is a bunch of crap! I have been to corporate about my issues and get nowhere so they don't even care about the customer since they have there money from the sale so they just run with that. Steve(service advisor) is very polite and sympathetic to this situation but he is not management and cannot do anything to take care of the issue. More

After this expirience, i will keep using Mopar and i will change my dodge journey with a newer mopar from this dealer. Up and at em Mopar! Thats our Sweet USA car industry, lets go back to where we were 90 years ago, the creators of the car! More

Break Repair I dropped my car off to be services on Saturday am, they called me around 215 and told me that I needed to have all 4 of my rotors replaced as well as I dropped my car off to be services on Saturday am, they called me around 215 and told me that I needed to have all 4 of my rotors replaced as well as my break pads and it would cost 750.00. I'm a woman and at that time I didn't know what else to do it needed to be done. I called my dad after the fact (who lives in SD) and he said to cancel it immediately that is way too much money, he said he would take care of it next time I am in town. I called Brookdale Chrysler Jeep Dodge back with in 5 minutes and told them I am declining the offer to put my tires back down and back it out. An hour later I got a call from them saying it was done and they were trying to collect there money. I was shocked. I then went into detail about my experience and they had no remorse and said my only options are to pay or leave my car there all weekend till Monday when a manager is in so I can discuss it with them. I was not going to pay, this was not my problem. So I was inconvenienced all weekend with no car and had to inconvenience someone else to bring me back there on Monday to discuss with a manager. They did end up giving me 200.00 off. The reason I am upset still is because they are blaming me for there problem. I called and was assured that my car would not be serviced and it was. I feel they did not hold up there part of the deal and I am the one that gets stuck with a 500 bill. I could have taken it to SD and had my dad do it for just the parts roughly 250.00. I will not be going back. More

Not to be trusted Brought my 2014 Ram (20k miles) in for an oil change and tire rotation on July 1, 2015. Something didn't sit right with me the last time I brought my Brought my 2014 Ram (20k miles) in for an oil change and tire rotation on July 1, 2015. Something didn't sit right with me the last time I brought my truck in for a tire rotation so for a check I removed one of the caps from the air nozzle on the front passenger side. After waiting an hour and 10 minutes I was told my truck was complete and was escorted to the PAY window with the service advisor where she informed that "they topped off my wiper fluid (yay)and that my air filter we dirty". I informed her I just paid for you to put a new one in on my last oil change" she shuffled through her papers and mumbled out "well, they just said its dirty". Come on!!! So I paid the $29.85 for the tire rotation went out to my truck and there on the front passenger tire was the missing cap from the air nozzle! (The tire had never been rotated!!) When I brought this to the attention to the service advisor she said she would go and get the mechanic, when she arrived with him she spoke on his behalf and said " he measured the tire tread and DIDN'T FEEL YOU NEEDED a tire rotation"! I said who gives him the right to decide that for me? I rotate my tires every 5000k! And why did you CHARGE ME FOR A SERVICE YOU NEVER PROVIDED??. "Well she said HE FORGOT to add that to the form" (forgot my a--). I called the manager over and he credited my card. I DO NOT TRUST LUTHER SERVICE DEPARTMENT- none of them. THEY NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE AND GET RID OF SOME LYING, LAZY EMPLOYEES. This is not the first time I have had problems with them and I only have 20k on my truck! As soon as my last free oil change is done they won't see me any longer. Also I just spoke with my brother in law tonight who also bought a truck from Luther and he had a similar night mare experience with the service department. Please please if you are reading this- you know how hard you work for your money- don't give it to Luther Brookdale!!! THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!! More
