They ordered the new part after already charging me almost 200.00 the new or should I say used part came in and the van died outside the dealership. They reorder the part and said they sent it out next day air. For a week told me that fed-x had lost it. They quoted the part and labor would not run over 500.00 when I went to pick it up the bill was 600 dollars so it cost me 800.00 and took them two weeks to fix. That is the last time I will ever do buisness with them!!! More
I was very impressed with Ben's ability to work with me and my financial situation. He helped into a vehicle that was affordable yet still able to negotiate a fair rate based upon my credit history. Most and my financial situation. He helped into a vehicle that was affordable yet still able to negotiate a fair rate based upon my credit history. Most dealerships take one look at a less than perfect credit score and quote extravagantly high rates and almost refuse to work with you. Ben went the extra step in verifying everything at each step of the process instead of rushing through. I would definitely recommend friends and family members to Ben again for new or used car purchases. More
I have been going to this dealership for 10 years and I have never been so disappointed in my life. This is the final visit, I will be heading to the Coon Rapids dealership. They said they had fixed and is have never been so disappointed in my life. This is the final visit, I will be heading to the Coon Rapids dealership. They said they had fixed and isue with my truck, but they had not took it back in and they wanted to charge me for more work!?! If you never fixed the issue, how could you charge me the second time around? I paid for the first visit, I shouldn't have to pay for the second. Spoke with the Service Manager and he was not so nice, these folks definitely need some customer service classes!!! More

I referred a co-worker of mine to Greg and he purchased a Jeep one week later. I will continue to refer friends, family, and co-workers to Brookdale Chrysler to see Greg. I brought my car in for an oil change and at the suggestion by Blake, had my transmission fluid and filter changed as well. I was told that this would take 1 1/2 hours. I ended up being there for 3. In that time, I was never kept apprised of what was happening. I had to go and ask myself what the status was on my car. Blake was very apologetic and sincere, but it didn't go very far in easing my frustration. More
We were happy with the service that was done, and they explained a problem the vehicle was having, that would need to be looked at in the near future. They didn't push unnecessary service on us, but told explained a problem the vehicle was having, that would need to be looked at in the near future. They didn't push unnecessary service on us, but told us honestly what the car would need. We will bring the car back to Luther for the necessary repairs, because they were so good to work with. The mechanic was friendly. More
I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee about a month ago. It came with a 1,500 or 30 day "bumper to bumper" warranty as described by the salesman. I come to find out that this dealership is anything but willing to help you fix your vehicle if it has problems after you buy it. Before I bought the vehicle, I discovered a few things that were wrong with it. It needed a new set of heater controls as the lighting had been burnt out behind it and it needed new keys. The keys we're the keyless entry type and essentially did not work. The salesman had to work some deals to get these two items fixed. They will claim that they are only able to spend $200 to fix items on their used cars. I called BS and told them that I would buy the vehicle, but only if those items were taken care of. Instead of two brand new keys like they said, I got one brand new and one that was barely used. Both of them worked but it was still shady that the salesman tried to tell me that they were both new and he lost his ass on this sale. The financing guy was anything but professional. He's a guy in the back office that does all of the paperwork. It was 8:50 PM by the time that I got to him and he seemed inconvenienced since he was likely done with work at 9 PM every night. He even commented on the fact that he was disappointed that I wasn't buying a new $40K jeep and was buying a jeep one fourth of that value. The finance guy also had the audacity to say that he had the option of not accepting the bank wire instructions that I had brought to close. He said "it's our option whether we accept this from your bank." I wanted to say, "Your an asshole who is about to lose this sale. I arranged financing on my own and I'm about to spend a lot of money on a vehicle. You should be offering me a coke or something while I wait rather than you complaining about my bank (which had very simple instructions) or the value of the vehicle I'm purchasing. So, around 1400 miles after I bought the vehicle, I came in to have the driver’s seat and the shifter console looked at. The driver's seat was starting to budge in the leather. The dealer said they could do nothing about that even though the salesman told me that this was a bumper to bumper warranty. Already the persona of the used car dealership is coming true. Then I asked them to look into the clicking that my shifter was making every time I would shift into drive. Being a former mechanic myself, I looked up the manufacturer’s website and looked to see if they had any Technical Service Bulletins out. In fact they did regarding this very issue. When I brought the Jeep in to be looked at, the service advisor didn't want to look at the technical bulletin that I brought in. He said "my service reps have access to that info." I said alright and hung on to the TSB. The service advisor came back to me after an hour and a half and said "If you've ever driven a 4 wheel drive vehicle before you will know shifting isn't as quiet as driving a sedan. This is actually normal for Jeeps and there is nothing that we need to fix." At this point I was ready to call them all liars and cheats. At this point I jumped back into my Jeep, drove home and got some tools out of the garage. I spent about two hours taking apart the shift console and I fixed the problem myself. The TSB addressed EXACTLY how to fix the issue. I paid $150 bucks to fix my leather seats at an aftermarket leather shop. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALER DUE TO THE WAY THEIR USED CAR SALES AND SERVICE SHOPS OPERATE. They are greedy, money hungry and don't care about customers unless they feel they can make more $$$. This is why people go to buy BMW and Lexus. They know they will pay a premium for their cars and service, but they won't have to deal with people who are cheats and liars. More
I brought my van in for 2 recalls and an oil change, I called about 1 month ago and was told that they did not have the parts. I was informed about a week ago that the parts were in and I could schedule a called about 1 month ago and was told that they did not have the parts. I was informed about a week ago that the parts were in and I could schedule an appointment. Thne oil change and radiator cap were processed but they did not have the hose for the air conditioner. So now I will have to schedule another trip to get this completed. Very poor planning on your part. More

I had been told during my review of the dealership there was a recall on my dodge, and I made an appointment to have the K15 recall performed. I actually showed up on time, burned a little PTO, and proceeded to the waiting room, where I relaxed for around 10-15 minutes, when the service guy came back to me and reported they did not have the parts to do my truck that day. (this was 4 days after I made the appointment) They offered me a "favor" which is an air filter or oil filter, or whatever. You think an hour of my Precious PTO and gas spent going there is worth an oil filter??? What the heck kind of service department does not plan for parts when they make these appontments??? Strange thing was, the actual technician was asked while I was at the service desk, do you have the parts? HE SAID YES!!! I bought the vehicle, and the sales guy was pretty good, until I asked when my truck was going to be detailed for delivery, as there was some prep work to be done before this, including undercoating, and tonneu cover installation. Well, he said after my 3rd time there to get stuff done, they did it last time I was in. LOL I am still waiting........ Good luck to you. More
