Brought in for Overheating issue--ended up with a new motor. I received no phone calls with updating, I had to do them all. No one called me to ask my permission to replace my motor, I just happed to f motor. I received no phone calls with updating, I had to do them all. No one called me to ask my permission to replace my motor, I just happed to find out about it when I called for an update. I was told that Dave in service got the ok from me--this is not true. When I Talked with Service Manager-Dave Miller--He tried to convince me he was giving me a deal at $500 for a new motor & warranty. I said no--the deal was $100 for possible gasket issue, but now since you've taken it upon yourselves to replace my motor without my permission I really shouldn't have to pay anything, but I will pay the $100. He tried patronizing me saying he could have it put together just as is & I could pick it up but that eventually I would have to have the work done. I said I don't know who you think you are talking to, but I know my rights under the law & you are not talking to some chick who is not savvi about things--so you will replace my motor for the price I was quoted. When I picked up my car almost a month later I couldn't be assured by virtue of the motor id number that it was new, cuz they didn't know where it was located, but I took the word of Chris the service guy, cuz he said he helped install the 2nd new motor, cuz the 1st new motor blew a spark plug. so I still am not sure if my motor is new for sure--just Chris's word, which I hope is good. More
