I was extremely happy with my service from start to finish at Luther. I stopped by to test drive a car and just a couple hours later I was driving home in a brand new Sonata. Horrible customer service from service department. Rude. disrepectful (eye rolling) condescending from 3 of the personnel. Told we had coverage for A/C repair under extended warranty. Pulled our car from another shop and WAITED 3 days for appt. at Hyundai to then be told during the cashier checkout process that service would not be covered. By the way it has been 90 to 100 degrees here for a week. Should NEVER use this service department. Obviously, this is a pattern from the reviews on several sites. I would especially agree with the deceptive tactic review!!!! More
I took my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe in to Bloomington Luther Hyundai to fix the lock on the driver's side passenger side door. Several weeks later, the door would not open because the door panel was loose. I Hyundai to fix the lock on the driver's side passenger side door. Several weeks later, the door would not open because the door panel was loose. I returned to have that repaired. A few weeks later, the door panel was loose again and I could not open the door again. This time I decided to go to another Hyundai dealer. The other dealer reported that a) the lock in the door was not attached to the door (e.g., it was not attached by any screws and was just hanging there) and b) several door clips and screws were missing. They said that the work was very sloppy and it looked like someone had forced parts apart. I also had an oil change during of these visits at Bloomington Hyundai. My car engigne was overfilled by at least a quart. I went on a 2000 mile road trip and the engine was knocking badly during the trip. When I discovered it and talked to Bloomington Hyundai, they said that it was no big deal. Needless to say, after two experiences of very sloppy work, I will never again take my car to this dealership for service. They have been informed of the situation and have made no response to me, as well. More
I went in for an oil change, checked in at 1:10 - asked the lady at 2:30 if they were almost done, she said yes. Checked again at 2:50, they were trying to locate my car? Finally left there at 3:10 - for the lady at 2:30 if they were almost done, she said yes. Checked again at 2:50, they were trying to locate my car? Finally left there at 3:10 - for an oil change, with no explanation. A week later, I found a Burger King receipt in my car..time punched 1:36 on the date I was getting my oil changed. So while I was patiently waiting for my car, they were out getting lunch with it. I talked to the dealership manager and emailed Mr. Luther and have not received a response from either person. Will not be going back here again, even though my oil changes are covered under my lease. More

On a busy Saturday, I went in to test drive crossovers. Although I was only there to test drive, Soroush Nezhad's knowledge and helpfulness helped reassure me that the Hyundai Tuscan was the car for me. Soroush did this by not only knowing the features of the Tuscan but also the features of competitor's crossovers I had researched prior to coming to the dealership. Even though it was a busy day and I was only there to test drive, Soroush made me feel like I was a top priority. Before I left the dealership, he made sure to go over all of the features of my car with me and also set up my phone with Bluetooth. Not only was Soroush helpful but he was more than patient, as I had arrived with a friend and needed to wait for my trade in car to arrive (since I had not planned on purchasing that day). I felt in no way pressured or rushed to purchase and couldn't have asked for better service. Although my car took awhile to arrive, Soroush made sure to have the finances set in place so when my car did arrive the deal could be finished as efficiently as possible. I would highly recommend going to this dealership if you are looking to purchase a car. Soroush and the Luther dealership has made a repeat customer out of me. I can assure not only Soroush but the Luther team that the next time I need to purchase a car, I will be back. Thanks again for the service it was greatly appreciated! More
We had an absolutely horrible experience at this dealership. We walked in to the dealership and the atmosphere was not one of a high quality new car dealership. Instead, we got the feeling we were a dealership. We walked in to the dealership and the atmosphere was not one of a high quality new car dealership. Instead, we got the feeling we were at a used car lot. Our interaction with Soroush was even worse. He started out nice enough, but soon become hostile when we asked to test drive a new Elantra and Sonata. He said that they were too busy to complete a test drive. So, we asked if we could see a new Elantra. He said that the few they had were flying out of the dealership and that there were none available for us to even see. He said this as he looked at the Elantra Inventory on his computer and we noticed that there were over 5 new Elantra's in stock. Then, Soroush kept asking us to make an appointment during the week when we was less busy. This was by far the worst car buying experience we have ever had. We left this dealer and put a deposit down on a new Elantra at a different Hyundai dealer that very same day (even though we were not planning on buying that day). We chose to purchase that day, because we ended up finding a sales person at a different Hyundai that took their time to understand our needs and work with us. I will be sure to discourage others from ever stepping foot in the Bloomington Hyundai dealership. Go to Brooklyn Park, Inver Grove Heights, or Morries. They are all far superior to Bloomington Hyundai. Soroush - I would suggest changing your sales tactics. Just because someone doesn't come running in the door, screaming: "sell me a car, sell me a car", does not mean they are not serious about buying. More

Had a great experience with Tracy at Luther Hyundai. I got the price up-front which takes a lot of the drama away from car shopping. Tracy knew everything about the vehicle features and how they compared to competitors, never talking down the competitors but giving an honest answer. I also appreciated how he respected my time; most of the transaction went very quickly and for the final prepping of the vehicle he told me right away it would take some time so just come back in a while - I've been in this situation before and ended up sitting around for a couple hours which is no fun. Also everying about pricing, financing, extras etc. was honest and above-board, nobody tried to sneak anything by me or give me a hard sell on something I didn't want. Flexibility too - a friend had a "Friends and family" coupon for the purchase, I didn't have it with me but they covered it for me on the honor system, I appreciated this since it saved me another trip. Love the car (Hyundai Santa Fe) and great buying experience! More
