Great experience I've purchased several cars over the years. Most were new, some were used. The dealership scenario is almost always the same; you walk in, they try an I've purchased several cars over the years. Most were new, some were used. The dealership scenario is almost always the same; you walk in, they try and (politely) sweet talk you into buying something, then when you walk out without making a purchase you get a call every 30 minutes asking how they can earn your business. My experience with Shawn at Luther Bloomington Hyundai was not like any other car buying experience I've had before. It was his day off (which I didn't know) and he still took me out to test drive a car when the other dealership I'd visited a few days prior did not have any on the lot for me to look at. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. He never once asked me about purchasing and didn't even take down my contact info so he could bother me with calls later - when I walked in I told him I wasn't going to buy right then. I needed to test drive both vehicles for comparison and then I would talk it over with my wife and we would make a decision later that week. After the test drive I had all but made my decision. Once I got back home I was so impressed with the service I'd just received I called Shawn (on his personal cell phone # that he provided) and made an appointment to come back that day (on his day off!) to buy the car. The car buying process went smoothly. Not much haggling because there were already so many incentives on the vehicle. Overall the process was easy and Shawn was pleasant to work with. The next day when I called my insurance company to add the new car to the policy I realized that they had actually put the title of the car under the wrong name (my middle name instead of my first name). I called Shawn to get the issue resolved and he himself drove over 30 minutes to my house to have me sign the paperwork to get the vehicle titled correctly. Where else would you ever find customer service like that?! I can't recommend Luther Bloomington Hyundai or Shawn Moorhead enough. More
