Untrustworthy or just incompetent! drove 4 hours to pick up the car, I was paying cash so made sure they weren’t gonna run my credit because I was in the process of refinancing my home, drove 4 hours to pick up the car, I was paying cash so made sure they weren’t gonna run my credit because I was in the process of refinancing my home, they said they would not! When I arrived I looked at the car and accepted the pre negotiated price. Romelo gave me some things to fill out at which time I saw a area for my social security number . So I asked him once again if he would be running my credit and he said no it’s to verify my name and ID since I’m paying cash for the car! after that I met with the other closing associate, for the 3rd time I asked if he ran my credit and he said no it’s just verifying my name again and added that he only checked mine and not my wife’s. on the way home both my wife and I got notifications for hard inquiries on our credit!
