I worked with Adam, and it was the best experience that I have ever had at a Honda Dealership. He is very knowledgeable, and took extra time to repair a tire that had a nail in it. You know, many mechanics at other places try to create problems that are not really there. I had forgotten about the extended warranty. When the air went out, I took the car to Firestone on Montfort i problems that are not really there. I had forgotten about the extended warranty. When the air went out, I took the car to Firestone on Montfort in Dallas, TX. This guy told me I needed a compressor "panel". I know that isn't right. I asked him a few other questions and called him out on his assesment. The cost he quoted was $2600 to replace the items he said needed to be replaced. He informed me it would cost about $4200 at the dealer. He can do it that cheap because he has been buddies with the parts guy there for 25 years. (Which is how long he claimed to be as a mechanic). Because I called him out, he did not recharge the freon he leaked out while checking the air conditioner. It was working at least intermittent prior to taking it in. I plan to follow up with that store to let them know they have a mechanic that is trying to rip people off. I took it to them for a charge on the freon. Had all intentions to bring it in to the dealer but, this is what happened. Lute Riley has one of the best service any where else I have gone. I was given a text of what was wrong and would be replaced as well as other things (breaks) along with PICTURES of recomendations of critical need to be replaced items. Wow! Just blew me away. More
