So, my driver wheel was completely flat because I went over a sharp object. I took it to Honda because that’s where I always go . I purchased tire warranty there, when I purchased my car there. I drop it off after hours and went the next day to pick it up. I looked over my tires and my front driver tire was replaced. But my passenger front tire has a bubble in it. Like super noticeable, I mentioned that’s not safe, and they know it wasn’t safe. So they file another claim on my tire, for my passenger side. But it got denied. I am like why did it get denied, Nick ( one of the managers) said cus it’s not leaking air, I am like that tire busted, that tire is going to be next. They are like yea, well they denied it and went about me purchasing a tire and they will wave labor. Hunter is the guy that filed my claim. I see Hunter talking to Nick, and they are going over something in the tablet about how I spoke to Hunter back in November when I came in for an oil change and Hunter mentioned a SMALL air bubble (now is much bigger ) at the time and I gladly told him I had tire warranty!(All 4 tires) He said they don’t cover tires unless the air is coming out. I am like, you literally told me it’s dangerous to drive my car like that but I have to wait until air comes out ? I remember the entire conversation we had that day, no claim was made, he was just advising me I need a new tire. I didn’t want to throw HUNTER under the bus for not taking care of me as a customer back in November because my tire warranty does cover air bubbles. I called my tire warranty company TODAY and they literally told me, if it’s dangerous, they would cover it. So when NICK had received this message, he had more of a dismissive attitude towards me. The reason my claim was getting denied was because Hunter said I hit a curb, which I didn’t. Air bubbles could be caused by potholes, debris, etc. He never asked what happened back in November either, just really adamant about me purchasing a tire and clearly I didn’t purchase tire warranty to replace tires, when it still has life. I feel like Hunter nor Nick advocated for me as a customer. I TRUSTED Honda’s service team, but they failed me, they let me drive off with a air bubble in my tire because they worded my claim incorrectly. They said I can come back on Tuesday, and file a new claim. They literally made me feel like I didn’t have a legitimate claim because of their LACK of knowledge,. Even if I filled the claim in November , it would of been covered. I feel like they didn’t have respect for my time, I was there for about 4 hours, over something that should of been taken care of and is still ongoing ….I felt like a dollar sign. I feel like they didn’t have integrity in this situation, where they knew the claim was filled incorrectly. More
