Karl, Per the many conversations we have had already regarding this issue, I have admitted to you that you should not have been charged the labor for the oil change, only the filter, which is not covered by the recall from Honda is what you should have been charged for. I have already approved that you get reimbursed for the entire bill, filter included. The reimbursement check should be in the mail to you within the next day or two. As far as Tyler, the service advisor goes, he is a new advisor and was doing what he thought was right. I had informed him after the fact that we should not charge labor for this work to you or any other customer. When you were here in the store picking your vehicle up I could see you were upset I had approached you to try and figure out what was happening and you did not want to speak with me. I asked several times, as I did not know any of the details about your vehicle or why you were upset and still all you wanted was to take your keys and leave. Then, instead of calling and asking to speak with me, you were calling the store and calling everyone you spoke to snakes and liars, and when each of then asked if you would like to speak to me you said no, and hung up on them. Later the sales associate approached me when you had reached out and texted him your frustrations. I asked the sales associate, since he was already in conversation with you, to have you call me as soon as you could to try and rectify the issue, and still you refused to speak with me. It was not until you wrote a not-so-pleasing review that I saw that, in fact, you WOULD like to speak with me to try to rectify the issue. I called you first thing the next morning and like I said from the beginning, I took full responsibility, I admitted fault, I reimbursed you your full amount plus the filter. I immediately reiterated to all the advisors that no labor is charged when an oil change and that particular recall is completed at the same visit once you picked your vehicle up and I knew the details as to what happened. I told you that if this has happened with anyone else prior that I would reimburse them as well. Now we move onto when you, Tyler, and myself met in my office the next morning. I go back to our prior conversations. I openly admitted that you should not have been charged for labor, it was an honest mistake by Tyler and if you would have just talked with me when you picked your vehicle up this would have all been rectified at that time and you would have never been charged. The only reason I asked you to leave my office is because you were pointing your finger at me, calling me a snake and a liar and I’m sorry but I do not deserve that. I have done everything I can to solve this issue with you. I am sorry that you are unhappy but I feel that Lundgren Honda has done everything in our power to make this right by you and your wife.
