This is my fifth Honda, so I'm obviously very happy with the product -- but that's not all I've been very happy with. The entire Lundgren team -- from sales to service -- has always been very accommodatin the product -- but that's not all I've been very happy with. The entire Lundgren team -- from sales to service -- has always been very accommodating and my stop at the dealership last week turned out to be the best yet. I stopped in to have my car serviced and while waiting, I began a conversation about possibly purchasing a new car with Marty Kendrick. As soon as my 2015 CRV came down off the lift, Marty went into the bay area to check it out. Probably 10 minutes later, he was back in his office offering me a deal on my seven-year-old car that I couldn't believe, nor could I refuse. In addition to the outstanding offer, Marty was tremendously helpful in tying up all the various loose ends that one often runs into when purchasing a new car and explained everything we needed to know in a way that was easy to understand. And with just two new CRV's remaining on the lot after four had been delivered the previous day, he made sure the car wouldn't be sold while I ran home to get my wife, who thought it was a great deal as well. And so, the the next day we became proud owners of a 2022 CRV. And when we decide on buying our next one, I'll make sure Marty's the one doing the selling. Andrew was very helpful with information on the 2022 Honda Passport. I ordered one in a different color then the one I ended up purchasing but I couldn't be happier with my choice. This Memorial Day, headed back home to NYC with my daughter, I realized I lost the car fob. We were towed to Lundgren Honda, learned the service dept was closed for the holiday, and the tow truck drov daughter, I realized I lost the car fob. We were towed to Lundgren Honda, learned the service dept was closed for the holiday, and the tow truck drove away. The manager (?) told us there was nothing he could do, and eventually closed and locked the doors behind us. But Connie came out to the parking lot to make sure we were ok. She offered help, made sure we were ok, and gave us next steps; we found a hotel, came back at 7:30am, met Rob the awesome service manager, had a new fob in hand by 8:30am, and were back on the road. Connie's kindness, Rob's friendly, speedy efficiency, actually offset the manager's (?) cold treatment of us. Even though the next morning he laughed at us when we walked back in, saying "wow did you guys spend the night here?" It seemed really cruel, especially considering his behavior the day prior, but Connie and Rob were so kind, which was what my daughter and I took away from the experience. Please give them both our thanks-they had no reason to be nice to us, but they sure were. :) More
