Great MPG again. Truck started running rough and check engine light comes on. I stopped by a local auto parts store and had the codes read. At just under 93,000 miles I had four coils go out and a Oxygen sensor. Lum's Ford service department, parts department, rentals and Mr. Edwards were great and made you feel that your business was appreciated and that you are a valued customer. After getting my vehicle back I took it on a one hundred mile trip and my MPG was 24.2 with speeds from 35 MPH to 70 MPH. That was better that when the vehicle was brand new. My F 150 is a 2011 supercrew 4x2 with a 5.0 V8. I have been a satisfied Lum's Ford customer for almost four years now. More

Black oil after oil change I dropped off an F350 at my scheduled appointment time, 9 am, to get the oil changed. When I returned at 1130, it had not been serviced. They said t I dropped off an F350 at my scheduled appointment time, 9 am, to get the oil changed. When I returned at 1130, it had not been serviced. They said they would have it done by 4:30 pm and would call when it was finished. I did not receive a call by the end of the day. The next morning I called and they said it was ready. (note 24 hrs for an oil change and coolant additive) When I arrived, I paid the $93 service bill, then went to the manager to let him know how bad the customer service was. He investigated to say the oil change guy had quit. (OK, why did you not tell me that the first day???) So, I go to get in the truck and decided to check the oil. WOW, the oil was black! I could not believe it and checked it again. Yup, still black. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! And yes, I made them change it for real. Not sure if I got synthetic oil or not, but it is clean oil of some kind. How many other people have you pulled this scam with?! Is it because I am a woman??? I come from a family who has had Ford trucks all of our lives. I am a 30 year veteran and the truck belongs to a veteran currently deployed to Turkey. LUM Ford you messed up and still got my $93. Never again! More
