I am so thankful for Lugoff Ford! They diagnosed my truck's ECM problem in less than four hours, acquired the part the next day, and then fixed it the day after! I took my truck to Lugoff after my local Ford dealer in Sumter kept my truck for six days with an insufficient diagnosis and solution. Customer service at Lugoff was amazing...my service advisor Rachel was so professional and kept me expertly updated throughout my experience at this location. I highly recommend Lugoff Ford for any vehicle repairs! More
FAIR WARNING: I am leaving this review for those that are interested in purchasing a vehicle from Lugoff Ford dealership and the experience I received. John was my salesman, Joe was the financing agent, are interested in purchasing a vehicle from Lugoff Ford dealership and the experience I received. John was my salesman, Joe was the financing agent, and Rhonda is the Manager. I was lied to from the very beginning regarding the vehicle I was interested in. I purchased the vehicle and not 2 hours later realized that the salesman showed me the transmission dipstick rather than the oil dipstick when asked about the oil. Any salesperson should know where the oil dipstick is when showing a vehicle. The vehicle had NO OIL. I trusted that what he showed me was the oil dipstick. I would never have purchased a vehicle that had no oil. When asked about getting out of the contract due to being mislead (lied). Was informed the transaction never went through and they have not filed the paperwork. Chris wrote on the purchasing agreement that the transaction was voided (Joe had already left for the day) and was told to come back the next day to receive additional documentation that the vehicle was returned and only received a note that Rhonda signed stating the transaction was voided. Four days later, the amount is still owed in my bank account and when asked the dealership, they stated a check was mailed instead of electronically transmitted. I asked and received the check# and address of the location the check was sent and stated "I hope that I am not being lied to about this as I was when I purchased the vehicle". Shortly after this, I received a call from my bank, stating the loan was paid in full by credit card. So, again I was lied to about this whole purchasing experience. GOOD LUCK to those of you who choose to do business with this dealership. If you want to receive top notch experience, go to JIM HUDSON. EXPERIENCE IT ONCE AND YOU'LL NEVER FORGET IT!
