First time at this dealership since moving to the area. I attempted to schedule an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, but the service department does not accept appointments. Instead, they have regular availability to just drive in. They were able to accommodate me upon arrival. One odd policy posted on the window behind the service writer is that customers requesting discount specials must provide a printed copy of it, even though they are posted on the dealership’s website. The service writer took care of it after I explained this, but bad policy overall and not customer oriented. No issues with the oil change, however, the tech did not rotate my tires in accordance with any standard methods. The rearward cross method is typical for rear or four-wheel drive vehicles. The tires were simply swapped between the front and rear. I will now have to cross the rear tires and take my truck in to have the tire sensors relearned. More
I have used this dealership several times now for specialty work other than just oil changes. Most involved adding accessories that required a fair amount of time and know-how. So far, the quality of their service and work has been excellent and I have had no issues. In the past, I have used two other larger Chevy dealers in the area for service and have been disappointed with their shoddy work. This is a smaller dealership with a smaller service department, so getting an appointment takes around three weeks. For my latest visit, the person at the service desk was new, so I didn’t get their name, but they were very polite and professional. Also, I am not sure which tech worked on my vehicle. Usually, I have only spoken with techs in the past when they do poor quality work. So far, I have not had a reason to speak with any techs at this dealership. More
I have used this dealer (and its predecessor) for many years, as both a place to purchase and service my cars. Keith Watkins, one of the sales managers, is a top shelf guy; completely honest and beyond h years, as both a place to purchase and service my cars.
