Lucas service department was extremely disappointing!! I scheduled my 2019 Chevy volt for service a week prior to my appointment. Service dept under new and improved management I bought a GM Certified used car in June of 2019 and soon realized that the certification checklist was falsified. Oil wasn't changed, was low, and th I bought a GM Certified used car in June of 2019 and soon realized that the certification checklist was falsified. Oil wasn't changed, was low, and the Nav/On Star didn't work. When I asked the Service Manager about this, he lied and made lame excuses (such as "maybe it went bad on the lot"). I've got 40 years of mechanic experience so I knew better. He also refused to give me a copy of the original certification check list that was supposed to be completed by their mechanic. I filed a formal complaint with Chevrolet and made their service department do that required service over (for the first time). I refused to return to Lucas Chevrolet until recently when I learned that the Service Manager was no longer employed there. I can only guess why. But I gave them another chance and with a new Service Manager who was promoted from within, things turned around 180 degrees. They replaced my bad battery, changed the oil, and reset the TPMS sensors on my newly installed tires/wheels. All while I waited, within an hour. There is no more dark cloud over the back of the house, which keeps customers coming back. And that was the second car I had bought there in a year. More
